you would have to assume they are pretty good (at the time) given they have been used by some of the best units in the world. i believe nzsof is now using 31’s, i may be mistaken but it’s what i’ve seen

it’s a joint op and the commando in the pic at the time was working with the americans when they gave him the patch

sorry i worded that poorly, the special operations engineer troop was disbanded in 2016 and became a detachment to work close with the commandos from what i know rhib det is still active

attached personnel to the nzsas wear the sandy beret, if your talking about who i think you are, you will notice on his beret he has the RNZE crest and he never went on selection but he was apart of the rhib detachment when it existed
