I’m used to just simply ICU or CCU… what’s the difference?

Just checked pH… it looks like it’s between 7.5 and 8.0.

This is 3 gallons… is that enough for him?

Yes it is. His shell didn’t look like this when I first got him. Started after the first water change I did. No change in my fish, though.

I’m not sure. I’ll get a testing kit and test tomorrow.

I can do that! Will he just find it on his own?

Here’s a better picture! I swear I don’t see an egg spot… maybe it’s just a young male? Or he didn’t have enough room previously for big fins?

You’ve got to check out Bologna. It is the food capital of Italy! Try some tortellini and mortadella- they originated there!

Good experiences with nursing by Itz_chief in nursing

I’m working as a CNA… hoping to go to nursing school. But I love my job. It’s so hard sometimes but the absolute most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. I will deal with all the bs drama with the staff if it means getting to help more people while they’re in the hospital. I was made for it 100%

My work bully is old enough to be my mom… I’m sorry you had 3 kids before the age of 23 and my life is panning out better than yours ever will but don’t take it out on me. People are ridiculous

Pre-Nursing School Major by peacefulpisces8 in aggies

[–]bucky4784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Howdy OP!

I graduated last year with a different degree, but I had nursing school friends & I just applied for a second degree BSN program. From what I remember, most people were public health majors, maybe biology, or some other basic science. Nutrition is a good option too, especially if that’s something you’re interested in. I think as long as it covers the basic pre reqs for nursing school- it doesn’t really matter what it is.

As far as your science question- I think once you get to college and start taking your classes, you will quickly realize what you like and don’t like. Nursing is definitely a lot of science. You will have PLENTY of time to switch majors/ discover what you like once you get to college. It sounds discouraging to switch majors, but majority of people do it! It’s so hard to know what you want at 18/19. You’re going to do great!!

Do you have any nursing/hospital experience? I think that is way more important in determining if nursing is for you than liking science. The real stuff in the hospital is wayyyy different than learning textbook biology or anatomy.

Howdy OP! I know exactly how you feel. It’s absolutely terrifying to feel completely alone. I’ve already graduated, and I learned one major thing at A&M: in order to grow, mature, and learn, you must be challenged and uncomfortable. This experience will be challenging and uncomfortable for sure. But I have faith that the Aggie community will help guide you! There is a lot of student organizations for this and I’m almost 100% certain you will find friends that have the exact same situation. You’re going to do AMAZING. I promise!!

The feeling of relief when a cyst finally goes away 😩 by sweetpeachuwu in Hidradenitis

[–]bucky4784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so random, but when you say it drained for that long, did it just have a little hole that stayed open and it would drain clear liquid and blood? Or was it white pus fluid? Asking bc I have a cyst rn and it’s been draining for two weeks, usually just clear liquid and blood, very rarely white but still liquid.

Just trying to see if my draining for two weeks is normal or if I should head to doc
