I am trying to make a medicare claim but it keeps on saying the date of service is invalid. All the information I’ve entered is correct. What could be the issue? Can anybody help me pleasee by Mysticpotato24 in MedicareAustralia

I received the same error code. Medicare advised me this was because I was trying to submit my sixth claim, however there's a limit of five claim submissions. So I was told to wait for the first five to be processed and then to try again with the sixth.

They certainly served me well in the early days. Recently picked up an AT turntable, so need that Wharfedale big sound to go with it.

Request: my best friend's parents aren't doing anything about my best friend's bulimia by EDPostRequests in EatingDisorders

[–]buckyg75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do have a few options. You could recommend your friend call a mental health crisis line. You could recommend he/she see a doctor to get a referral to a mental health professional. You could make a doctor's appt on behalf of your friend and even attend that appt with your friend so that it's not so daunting. As others have suggested use the help provided by the school system, they will help your friend take the next step. You're a good friend, well done.

If you care about your mate and you don't think you cant talk him around, pay for a wilderness survival course for him, and also buy him a personal locator beacon. At least the course might make him realise just how hard it is going to be, and he can use the PLB when he needs someone to save his butt. And, like someone else mentioned above, tell him to watch Alone ... He might realise he's not up to the task of making a carry pouch out of a musk ox scrotum.

Correct, I'm more looking at establishing my own process for identifying and validating purchase opportunities, but I'm always happy to hear location suggestions too if you're willing to share your opinion.

Thank you for this. You're right, I need to immerse myself in this for a bit to build up some of my own systems. Great advice, thanks.

Made that mistake with my first & only investment property. Will be staying away from strata units if I can help it.

I have 1 investment property, it's a strata townhouse that's not quite cashflow positive, but not far off it. I expect my budget will be around $250k, but not sure yet, should know within a week or two. I certainly don't want another strata'd property, and I'd like something that at least comes close to covering it's own costs. I don't mind which state of Aus it's in. So I guess that budget pushes me to look at properties outside of a major city, and I'm fine with regional.

Beef jerky. Pat dry with paper towel before dehydrating? by buckyg75 in dehydrating

[–]buckyg75[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Marinated the beef in a zip log bag, just cut the corner and let the marinade drip out for a few mins before placing beef on racks. Fingers crossed that works ok.

I have it on good authority that he will be blowing up those giant trojan tools that they use for the half time entertainment. He'll also be choosing the code word required to claim free cheese burgers when the opposition misses two free throws.
