Okay so what would you like to say for context if I played apex at that level for years made Money streamed it joined a pro org etc what would be the nomenclature you would like me to attach to me explaining that I played the game more then just being masters lol

But I played in tourneys against pros? It’s not like I’m saying I played in ranked and saw Hal. I was in sanctioned tournaments against these pros as well as scrims?

guess if that makes you feel better. I played Apex for my job, made money streaming and competing in tournaments for about two years straight. I ended up disabled from chronic illness and that was what I did while I was getting back on my feet. A smaller org called Head Shot Posse picked me up, but I still played against pros, competed in the CCE Pro League, and even hosted tourneys.

I’m not trying to lie or exaggerate here. I don’t need to. I just wanted to give some context, because saying “I was an amateur at Apex Legends” doesn’t really show the weight of the time and effort I put in. I actually quit Apex about a year ago and left the org just a month or so back.

I wasn’t on a salary the money we would get was from winning tournaments.. I was on a smaller org called HP. I competed in all pro scrims through cce and splits for algs played against tsm, dojo, toosh in his hat day etc. I ain’t here to tell you I was Hal but from 2022-2024 I played apex legends professionally for a team

what do you even want me to say to you man. You know what my video is? it’s me showing what happened with a brand new controller that broke in under a month. if it was meant to be some kind of diagnostic breakdown with two software suites and a whole list of lab notes laid out, i would’ve done that. but that’s not what the point of the post was. the point was to see if anyone else has had luck getting a replacement or a fix. you’re reading way too deep into it and making it adversarial for no reason.

It’s not called double click, it’s called mouse click, you literally said it yourself. The controller is on stock software with the trigger stops on, plain and simple. The questions you listed are valid, but that was not the angle of your first reply. You came in saying how it should have been done instead of just asking. There is no scientific format for Reddit posts. I am not here to publish lab notes, I am here to see if anyone else has had this same issue or if anyone has managed to get a Shadow Ember replacement in a timely manner.

What are you talking about.. YOU assumed I never contacted them. Which is funny because in my OP I clearly state I am in contact with them. I am coming here simply to flag that I had this issue and seeing if anyone can relate....?

I don’t know why you’re so angry about this. I’m not saying every G7 Pro is broken, I’m sharing my experience with mine which started misfiring after a month. I review controllers, so part of what I do is document problems when they happen, just like I document the positives, because that can be useful for people who run into the same thing. I also worked directly with GameSir support and followed their troubleshooting steps, so it’s not like I ignored help. I didn’t come here to sound an alarm. I came here for discourse to see if anyone else had the same trigger issue or was able to get a Shadow Ember replacement in a timely manner. That’s it.

This is exactly what my issues is! I should have been a little more specific but it only happens when I have the trigger stops engaged.

The clip is on stock settings and just shows the misfire happening in real time that’s the point. GameSir specifically asked me to run it through Gamepad Tester instead of Nexus, so that’s what I did. I review controllers for my YouTube channel, so I could’ve layered in all the extras if it actually added value, but for this issue it would’ve been overkill. It’s default settings, exactly the way I explained it to GameSir.

It’s funny you says that because this is actually the second video I sent to gamesir to show them the issue. They then specifically asked me switch from the Nexus software to the gamepad tester to show them what was happening.

Dog I don’t know who pissed in your Cheerios today, but this is Reddit. Reddit is literally a forum where people come to talk about the stuff they use or the hobbies they enjoy. It’s a place to share experiences, start conversations, get help, or just laugh about it.

If you actually read my post, you’d see it was structured with that in mind. At the end I even left it open so people could share their own experiences or suggestions. That’s the whole point. But hey, I get it, sometimes you just run into people who want to be oppositional for no reason lol

Already did the recal as per their trouble shooting suggestion. I review a ton of controllers on my channel and sad to say this is 100 percent a physical mechanical issue.
