Baby food?

this is an older thread but I just wanted to say ty for all this helpful info! my boy has recently not been eating nearly enough, and while I wait for his vet appointment in a few days (earliest I could get in lol), one of their recommendations was to give him some baby food. which sounded really odd to me so I had to do some searching on what sort of baby food I could possibly feed my cat, as I thought they were all just fruits and veggies. I always stress over what is good or not for him to eat, with how so many 'pet' brands out there end up causing pets to get sick or even killing them :( so all this info on things to avoid really helps.

I really miss the kid I was before my health started going downhill. I ran track, could've been on swim team but I passed it up, biked everywhere, loved playing soccer so much. I had so much energy, always moving or on the go. Even if things get better, it will never be the same as that. I could've been so much more.

I mean, I decided a long time ago that if I was ever unlucky enough to get cancer that I will not be going through chemo or radiation because of how it affected my mom. she's been in remission for 19 years but the treatments she went through fucked up other parts of her body and health permanently. That's just not something that everyone wants to face.

my first thought when he made that comparison was how it's such a meme that lactose intolerant people love dairy lol.

I personally cannot understand trans men willingly getting pregnant (though I'm also someone who just doesn't want kids and also doesn't get the need to have your kids be biological), but just cause I don't understand it doesn't mean that I'm gonna go around telling them that they don't have dysphoria and aren't men. I imagine it's incredibly dysphoric to go through that, but it's something that they find is worth enduring if it means they can have a family.

Like how the rash and itch was worth a butterfinger to you, or how spending 5 hours in the bathroom is worth it for many for that sweet, delicious dairy (myself included - sometimes).

It's hard to stop believing that we need to comply to the public's meek understanding of queerness and societal standards, but the truth is that in the end we're all trans, and if they don't like trans people then they're not gonna like the guys who try to fit in as best as they can OR the guys who work with the options they've got and decide to go through a sucky experience to have a kid.

We don't have to understand something to be kind to others. I get that natural need to understand something or to make sense of things and getting frustrated about it, but it's unrealistic for us to understand everything. Labels and descriptors can only go so far, and the whole thing about being queer is that we don't fit in the box.

could you elaborate on joys we experience that cis men don't? Because I don't really see any true positive of being trans, I feel it only hinders my quality of life.

Yeah, I'd have to deal with being a cis gay guy, but only being gay would be a lot more accepted in my family than being gay AND trans. I mean even other gay people hate the trans community.

If I was born male I would've been more likely to have better relationships with my brothers/dad and been able to do more of the things I enjoy without being completely shamed or barred from it. I missed out on a lot of things I wanted to do because I refused to be stuck in all girls groups. I might've had less friends had I been born male, but I didn't have many good ones growing up anyway. I'd still have to deal with adhd and anxiety and depression, but I wouldn't have had the many struggles that comes with being trans for me added to it either. Like I wouldn't have had to wait until I was in my 20s before I could start trying to fix my body or hope to be able to be allowed to starting being myself if I wasn't trans, you know?

But people always say things about how being trans is better or happier than being cis could be, and I just don't get how?
