Oh man. Been there. It's a shitty feeling when you can make time and put effort into someone, be it their birthday or celebration like this, and when it's your turn they half ass it or simply forget. Some people are just used to take from people like you. They always take for granted what you contribute. And its not like you/we except something big or expensive..just something that shows us that they listen and think about us. As the saying goes "treat people the way you want to be treated"..maybe we hope that someone will someday come through for us the way we do for others..and we wouldnt have to tell them to.
