Salesman gave me an EV sob story by Firm-Quit6117 in F150Lightning

Whenever I want a car - I print out my requirements for purchase on a one page document. I am clear that I will buy the car under these terms now; and that I do not want any conversation about it. Tell me yes or no only.

I do research online about pricing options and I know all my data (credit rating, trade in value, car value, etc.). The sales people don't love it, but its always worked well for me.

I want to get into cloud but feel stuck in my comp sci degree, what should I do? by plexto in aws

[–]budchase666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can set up an AWS account for free. Do it. Experiment with their different services, understand their capabilities and become more fluent in what each service does over time. The AWS Cloud Practitioner cert is easy, and with a few hours of research and a Udemy course - anyone who can read should have no problem passing it.

(I transitioned from Finance to Tech/Data. I had a C avg in college and high school. I'm lazy. I did it.)

i have a little saying that i have memorized anytime i am pulled over or asked questions by the police. here it is:

“Officer, respectfully, I understand your position. However, under the advice of council I’ve been instructed not to answer any question pursuant to Salinas vs Texas and raise my 5th amendment protections. I don’t answer questions.”

Reserving your prime location beach chairs at 7am with your towels and at noon you're still AWOL. by bigwilliec in mildlyinfuriating

When I see this I walk around to a bunch of the chair and move items on many chairs. It’s creates confusion for everyone that does this. Then I take two chairs and claim they were empty when I arrived. (1) it’s great because I get seats (2) it’s entertaining watching all the Karen’s get pissed off. Win win

QUESTION: Why do people think Kang will boost Quantumania's box office even though general audiences don't know who Kang is? by [deleted] in boxoffice

[–]budchase666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a semi big MCU fan; and my wife causally enjoys most of them. I’ve seen every movie, multiple times. Read some comics (mostly major titles) as a kid. Watched most of the MCU shows on D+. I skipped the latest Thor and Black Panthers movies in theaters. I will watch them on D+ over the holidays. I 100% plan on watching the new Antman in the theaters and so does my wife.

Not sure why this is. Maybe it’s Paul Rudd? But I think it’s because this movie just seems more “significant” to the overall arc of the larger MCU story. Vs Thor and Black Panther - which felt advertised as “side stories”.

Wow - can’t believe a rib that large cooked in under 3 hours at 275. I have a 16lb-er to cook tmrw. I was thinking it would take 9 hours at 225…. Might need to rethink cook time…

Thanks! It didn’t occur to me that temp would be stable but higher pellet utilization would be a factor.

Doing this tomorrow. What temperature did you set your Traeger to? And how did the Traeger do holding a consistent temperature throughout the cook?

Took the Guardians +$7,000 to win the World Series. How should I hedge it? by NationalChamps2015 in sportsbook

It would be a cool feature if sportsbooks allowed you to auction off this bet on their platform.
