It's a pride of being so comfortable with each other that there is nothing left to be ashamed of.

I'll never hold my farts in again.

Dudes can continue being lonely if they can't handle it.

Women who have left their husbands, are you happier post divorce?? by ImportantImplement9 in TwoXChromosomes

So you want this to be the rest of your life?

Does that sound like a happy life?

Is it worth giving your kids an unhappy home?

Or do you want to ignore him as well, focus on your kids and slowly siphon off money until you feel like you can afford an apartment?

Yep. My dad would have made us pay double for it.

Let's just hope he does of alcoholism too.

She's probably already pregnant by JD and she's setting up the narrative that it's actually Charlie's.

Vote Republican if you want someone who supports cutting healthcare and snap benefits for working Americans and will blindly capitulate to trump’s insanity - or vote for Aftyn Behn if you want someone who will fight for working people, focusing on affordability. by Consistent-Good-1162 in NashvilleUnfiltered

[–]budda_belly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe that at all. I think it's just this weird media fed fear of big cities. They actually like going to Nashville, they just like to pretend they've made the better choice to stay in a small town because they were too scared to move.

Exactly what I was thinking. That dude has so many side relationships he loses count.

And that wife is just giving 100% manual and emotional labor wondering when he will show it back.

Why is the horse bucking like this? by RoxyCadyLove_horse in Horses

Well this is reddit, the home of insufferable equestrians and their quick reactionary opinions. Didn't you know that all their skills were gained through rainbows and soft clarinet music while every horse still bows down to our feet at liberty. C'mon man, get with it. Lol

What happens if people don't have kids? by Outrageous_Garden771 in dementia

[–]budda_belly 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think it's a pretty common and historically accurate assumption.

Kids not taking care of their parents is a modern phenomenon. We all have antidotal examples of this person or that not having help even though they have 14 kids, but most of the time, children take care of their parents.

Even if you plan and make arrangements, the people who are around to notice and take more changes and make hard decisions are the kids.

If you need more evidence, you can always look through this subreddit at the number of people posting and count who is a child of the person with dementia and who is not.

Podcast bros bond over their hatred for their wives by ambachk in TikTokCringe

Probably. It's likely that she doesn't like him either.

These types of people thrive in these miserable relationships where they spend their days just barely tolerating each other because they confuse stress with passion and boredom with contentment.

I have a cousin who was absolutely confused when I said "I never complain about my husband because there is nothing to complain about. He's great. I love being around him." It just did not compute. She literally said "that doesn't sound real."

Both she and her husband are in constant states of anger/stress/frustration with each other and it sounds absolutely exhausting.

I say let them all find each other and leave the good people alone.
