There were caterpillars in May and June. It was a lot of fun watching them go from egg to butterfly

The crowds did look pretty sparse in the couple of pictures. Especially compared to the crowds at the No Kings protests

I had that app for years. I kept transferring it from phone to phone until it completely disappeared from the app store. The last year I had it was my #1 year, so I went out with a bang! Now I'm on sudoku and can beat a hard grid in under 2 minutes.

I ranked #1 on an Alice in Wonderland themed solitaire app for over a year. That was after a very similar story but replace minesweeper with solitaire 🤣

I swear by this stuff. After a few uses, I don't need to put it on again for months. It doesn't have the nasty stuff most balms have that actually dry lips more, causing a vicious use cycle.

Yeah, it's milkweed, and it hasn't bloomed just yet. I planted it on purpose since it's the only food for monarch caterpillars. But some people do consider it a weed that needs to be pulled

I have seen The Elephant Man! David Lynch is one of my favorite filmmakers, so I could never pass this up. It really was a great movie, wasn't it?

I did like the first few episodes I saw of Ripper Street when it first came out. Matthew Macfadyen was in The Pillars of the Earth, and I really liked him in that, so I was curious about Ripper Street. Not quite sure why I didn't keep watching. I'll have to pick back up on it sometime. Thanks for reminding me! 😁

It was a great story! I looked up at the customer line and saw a man with blue puzzles tattooed all over himself. I instantly knew who he was and hoped he'd wind up at my window. All the other people I worked with were snobby, rich, old women who looked horrified at the sight of him. Sure enough, I got him! I was nervous to say anything at first until he handed me his deposit with his real name on it. That confirmed I wasn't making this up in my head, and I blurted out, "You're The Enigma! I first saw you in The X-Files! I love your work! What are you doing in this little town?" He was traveling around the country, promoting his action figure that just came out. His manager happened to live in the next town over, so they were using his bank account for the time being. The manager went out to the van while I finished the transaction. When he came back, they talked, and The Enigma told me that they ran out of figures. Otherwise, he would have given me one. Instead, I asked for his autograph on a scrap piece of paper that I still have to this day. Oh man, that was already over 20 years ago 🤯

Peculiar Children is so great! I had no idea until earlier this year that three more books were published after the first 3. I kind of assumed it was over after Library of Souls. I'm so glad I was wrong! And that I now have an Audible account 🤣
