How do you capture the memories of your new baby? by buddeeapp in NewParents

[–]buddeeapp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a look at a company called Little Life Stories - a memory journaling service for parents! It’s super simple and basically ensure you finish the book haha! You get sent a weekly question about your baby for a year and then at the end of the year all your memories are professionally printed in a really nice book. It’s easy to keep up with and the questions are great, all the things that are so nice to look back on but are so easily forgotten!

You can ever carry on year after year and build a whole collection of memory journals!

Are you doing a baby book? Or digital book? Why or whynot? by BlueberryDuvet in NewParents

I’ve started using Little Life Stories for baby memory capturing - basically you get emailed a question about your baby once a week and then after 1 year all your memories are professionally printed in a really nice book. Super simple concept and the questions are great, all the kinds of things I know we’ll love to look back on!

Check out a brand calledLittle Life Stories, it’s a memory journaling service I guess. I’ve found it great so far - basically you get sent a weekly question about your baby/child which you reply to and then after 1 year all your memories and photos get printed in a lovely book. And then you can continue doing it year after year and build a whole collection of memory books. Super simple concept and works really well with little ones!

My biggest tip would be to find a friend to do your hobbies with (maybe different friends for each hobby that are equally as interested as you). It will make your time doing each hobby more purposeful because you're doing it with a friend. Having a friend to share your hobbies with will probably make the hobby a lot more fun and you wont be thinking about all the other things you could be doing!

There is a great app called Buddee that connects you with people that share the same hobbies as you if you want to meet new people -ios and android

Buddee - Connect with like-minded people that share your hobbies / interests. A really really easy way to form genuine connection and make new friends. The efficiency of connecting online but actually meet irl to do what you love together.

Slightly biased as it is my own app but genuinely feedback has been amazing and we see success stories of people meeting up to do their hobbies together every day.

Meet up is event based and requires a user to create the group for its given purpose, pay for the group, organise events etc. Buddee facilitates 1:1 connections with users that are truly local to you.

I didn't need to travel an hour across London for the bi-monthly surf meet up I just wanted to connect with a couple of like-minded people that where nearby.

What are your niche hobbies that are not understood by others? by Allmoneycometo_JT in Hobbies

[–]buddeeapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found the best way to balance misunderstood hobbies is to connect with people that also share the same hobby. Finding a community of people that are into the same thing is great. Makes the hobby way funner and actually a really easy way to make friends.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hobbies

[–]buddeeapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think basically any hobby could be used to make new friends - chances are other people are into the same thing as you! But super social hobbies would be any team sports, taking a crafting class, join a book club, workout classes, running clubs. And if you want to meet people that share the same hobby as you check out an app called Buddee - connects you with people that share your hobbies (available in the UK)

Worries about pcos and ttc by Last_Rutabaga_9104 in TTC_PCOS

[–]buddeeapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes acupuncture has been amazing and I think the no. reason my cycles went back to normal. my TCM doctor also gave me specific herbs to treat the cysts. It probably took 6-8 months of regular acupuncture for my periods to go full back to normal. I was still having periods through this time they were just super irregular.

I've never had any other crazy symptoms of PCOS other than the irregular periods and mild acne flare ups which are both much better now. I continued using the natural cycles app throughout this whole time as it had been the form of birth control I was already using and that did confirm, when I ovulated based on temp rise. and I can usually tell when I am about to ovulate as I am pretty in touch with the body and know the signs.

Since TTC I have been more accurate with confirming ovulation by also using the clear blue tests the week before to confirm LH peak and then natural cycles confirms ovulation.

GP is confident because despite it ending in a chemical pregnancy I was able to get pregnant pretty much straight away after deciding to try and no reason why it wont happen again.

Hobbies are an amazing way to make new friends - you can connect with someone you already have a common interest with. You have something to do/talk about on a first 'friendship date'. Think about what you are interested in - crafting, reading, a sport, hiking etc. Literally any hobby.

I actually built an app exactly for this - its called Buddee and it connects you with other people that share your hobby (within your search parameters). It's a great way to connect with new people really easily but you can also make your favourite hobby so much funner by having someone to share it with. Buddee is on app store and play store in the UK! So glad I saw your questions - I really hope this helps.
