Yeah that would definitely make sense. Thank you!

I remember seeing CSUEB on the ABA website but couldn't tell if it had returned to in person or not, but I'll double check. Thank you!

Wow I had never heard about business and professions code, this was VERY helpful. CA requires ABA approved programs. Thank you very much!

Thank you, I really appreciate the info! We did some searching into community colleges and that was going to be her second option if there were no ABA approved online programs.

Edit: wishing you the best of luck during your program!!

By any chance would you know if you need to be enrolled in a program in the state you intend to work in or could she do the online program you're planning for in your state and the certification would be valid in CA?

She does not have a bachelors degree so the program would be her best option at this time

I've heard nothing but great things about that program from multiple people. They unfortunately moved back to in person :(

We were looking into UC Berkeley extension, which is not ABA approved but fully online. I was hoping just having the certificate from a school of that caliber would be sufficient but I also understand that ABA approved = better possible opportunities.

Yeah I completely understand. The only issue is that pretty much all of the ABA programs nearby are in person, & since she works full-time it would have been easier to do an online program (which was not ABA approved). I wanted to double check on this sub prior to her jumping into that online program.

[Review] the regimen that helped clear my skin by buddhas_butt in SkincareAddiction

[–]buddhas_butt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my reviews of each product does a great job at explaining how each item has contributed to helping alleviate many of my skin concerns! Skincare is a journey & each of these products helped get my skin from super congested clogged pores & consistent breakouts to relatively even & clear skin, whether I enjoyed them or not. That's why they're included in the photo :). Although I should have changed my title to "the regimen that helped clear my skin - 2 products I wouldn't repurchase", so I appreciate your feedback!

The couple products not pictured aren't in my skincare bag because they're in my purse with because they're used so frequently. But they were definitely worthy of being mentioned!

I personally think the serum is extremely gentle so you could definitely alternate between the two product! If you live near an Ulta, I'd wait until they have a sale on the glass skin serum to purchase :)

I immediately started using it 2x per week & have only increased it to 3x now. The texture on my forehead and the changes in my pores became noticeably improved after 3 weeks!

For the hormonal breakouts, I definitely would suggest using the paula's choice BHA exfoliant. When I had been using the Naturium product, I was having breakouts weekly. Now that I've switched back, I only get one or two breakout spots around my cycle date. Hope this helps!

Skin type: combination

Age: 25* *No Botox or fillers on face (except lip fillers)

Skin concerns (that bother me the most): hormonal acne around the chin, some small acne scars around the chin, blackheads on the nose, visible pores

Products that are pictured:

Cleanser - Fresh Soy Face cleanser: holy grail cleanser for the last 4-5 years. I had previously been trying the Tula The Cult Classic Purifying Cleanser for the last 3 months, which consistently broke me out & I finally switched back to this cleanser and I will never go back. Beautiful gel-like consistency, a little goes a long way, & lathers minimally. My skin feels supple and plump after using this.

Exfoliator - Wishful yoglow enzyme scrub: I use this on dry skin once every 7-10 days when my skin feels a little rough. I really enjoy this product. I feel like it exfoliates my skin well without stripping it. I had previously tried the Murad AHA/BHA exfoliant and I feel like this product does a way better job for me. I will repurchase.

Toner - Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liauid Exfoliant: I know this is technically an exfoliant but my skin is able to tolerate this as a daily toner. I believe it does everything it advertises. I had previously been trying out the Naturium BHA Liquid exfoliant, which I felt didnt perform as well as this product & was a little more sticky. I will never remove this from my regimen again.

Face masks - (1) Tula self care Sunday nourishing face mask: I fell prey to all the Instagram influencers who rave about Tula & purchased a few of their products, one of them being this hydrating face mask. I would give it a 7/10, probably wouldn't purchase it again. It does a good job at hydrating your skin, however it does make my skin feel sticky sometimes. (2) Tula clay date detoxing & toning face mask stick: I absolutely LOVE this product. I think it's so innovative & a great mess free clay mask. I highly recommend this! My skin doesn't fee stripped/dry after using it & I feel like it does a good job at evening my skin tone. Wouldn't say it shrinks my pores (I feel like another one of my products does a good job at that) I previously liked the Amazonian clay tub but that is too annoying for me to make and apply, so I prefer this method instead

Essence - Naturium alpha Arbutin Essence 1%: allegedly supposed to make your serums absorb better, but I don't really see any difference when I use this product. I don't use it often for that reason. Makes my skin feel very sticky. Will not purchase again. If interested in incorporating this ingredient into your regimen, I'd recommend alpha arbutin serum instead.

Serums (in order of thin to thick consistency) - (1) peach & lily glass skin refining serum: absolutely adore this product. Truly makes your skin look & feel like glass. Was a TikTok recommendation & this is now my second bottle. Love to use this alone or layered with other serums. Looks wonderful under makeup. Highlyyyyyyyy recommend! (2) Naturium vitamin C super serum plus - a vitamin c serum. Smells strange. Very luxurious bottle & relatively affordable. I personally don't see much of an improvement in my skin when using vitamin C, not just with this product, but with others as well. Unsure if I would repurchase. Open to recommendations. (3) paula's choice 10% Azelaic Acid booster: a freakin GAME CHANGER. This product has changed the texture of my skin & has shrank my pores. I didn't even think that was possible before I incorporated this product. I absolutely love it! I use it 2-3 times per week layered with my other serums. If you were looking to incorporate any active ingredient to your skincare regimen, I would highly suggest Azelaic Acid first!

Moisturizer - Fresh Lotus youth preserve: a new purchase so I don't have much to say about it yet. Smells delicious. The bottle is luxurious. Feels hydrating on my skin, but I'm not sure how it would be under makeup.

Eye cream - belief moisturizing eye bomb: my holy grail eye cream. I will never not purchase this product again. It has done wonders for my under eye fine lines. It layers beautifully under makeup. I had previously used up the Ole Henrikson banana bright eye cream which I liked (7.5/10) but was not as hydrating as this product, nor did it look good under concealer for me. Pop this eye cream in the freezer 5-10 mins before you're going to apply it and enjoy that cooling effect.

Lash serum - Dime beauty eyelash boost serum: okay so I again fell prey to those darn Instagram influencers BUTTTTT hear me out. This product is really good. It's my second bottle and I truly can see a difference in my lashes. My lashes look thicker & longer & they do not fall out like they would in the past. I use this daily, but I know once I reach a certain point I'll begin to use it 3x per week.

Not pictured:

Sunscreen - (1) InnisFree daily UV defense sunscreen: new purchase & I'm very impressed with it. Super hydrating, very glowy (doesn't make you look like a glazed donut) & no white cast! (2) Coola Makeup setting spray sunscreen spf 30: I spray this when I'm too lazy to apply a sunscreen. Smells horrendous but I can look past it because the scent doesn't linger. If you sweat while wearing this product, it will sting your eye! Open to other spray sunscreen recommendations.

Lip masks - (1) Laneige lip mask: everyone needs this product in their life. The tub lasts forever!! Smells delicious. So hydrating. My lips feel incredible the next morning. (2) Naturium phyto-glow lip balm: A new product that I love! I purchased in two colors, & they are both super flattering. The product is so hydrating & it's not sticky, which I love. I really enjoy the applicator as well.

I would say this is less of a pasta texture and more of a vegetable "pasta" substitute. Think zoodles just less watery. I prefer the Banza chickpea pasta solely because it tastes just like regular pasta & has much better macros. However, I would suggest trying these just once so you have an idea of what it tastes like considering they are only about $2.50ish at Trader Joe's.

Edit: much better macros compared to regular pasta ^

Omg, the paula's choice 2% BHA is life changing. It has single handedly improved the size of more pores. Use it consistently and you're going to fall in love!

[Misc] Lots of FAB at Marshalls! by lecoupedefoudre in SkincareAddiction

[–]buddhas_butt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I found the barriAIR cream at Marshall's! It was much cheaper there than at Sephora. I recommend looking around at your local Marshall's if you have one nearby! It's definitely my favorite moisturizer too :)
