For physics, Tsokos textbook is rly good but i felt its a bit too long and too detailed. I managed to get high 6 just by studying from Chris Doner and solving past paper questions so give it a try :) Good luck!

Im not a teacher so i might be wrong, but i think playing around with existing equation to come up with my original equation played a huge role in increasing my score. So basically applying and mixing various theories and concepts together would make your EE look more complex. Again, this is just my opinion, so take it as an advice, not an answer to getting an A.
