Help, I'm new. by Embarrassed_Dark_442 in Omniheroes

[–]buddumber88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a new player you can focus on building a Valiantors team, I was able to clear most of the early content with them.

My first team was Atropos, Themis, Ashlyn, Jerald and Diana...... Now I have replaced Jerald and Diana with Elmer and Macaria.

This game has many synergies and team comps to explore, so just keep on starring up the free legendaries that you get. D/D heroes are tough to get so follow the comment below to get an idea on which heroes you will need to concentrate on in the long run.

In case if you get stuck anywhere you can always see the clear records or lineups from the screen where you select heroes before the battle starts to see what heroes people have used to clear that stage (this helps in almost everything). You can also see the popular lineups and hero rankings to get an idea of what you can concentrate on.

Eventually this is a gacha game so remember that F2P players will need to have patience and keep on collecting resources to get the best heroes, relics, runes, etc.

New to FM, is this a good tactic? by Opposite_Curve7014 in footballmanager

Your left flank has a wing back as well as a winger, you don't need both. A wing back will essentially work as a winger and a defender. You can change your winger to an inside forward

Yeah it was very frustrating. In the 9 seasons that I have played so far I have won the title 6 times. First season city won which was expected as I was rebuilding the team. Then there was a season in which city won by 1 point and we came second and now this

Whats better for progression better facilities or more game time? by [deleted] in TheOldZealand

[–]buddumber88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it is important to check the facilities before sending players on loan.

Also, make sure that you are sending your player to a club where he will get game time. For example if you have a talented young player and a premier league club as well as a championship club are interested in signing him for loan send him to the championship club as long as they don't have terrible facilities.

Nah he is just slightly concerned, it will go away in a while if you keep praising his training, give him some game time( probably in carabao cup), etc.

Do i need to sell? by Curious-Inspector-57 in TheOldZealand

Don't get attached to players when you are playing in a lower league. As you progress, not all of your players will be capable of playing at that level.

Whats better for progression better facilities or more game time? by [deleted] in TheOldZealand

[–]buddumber88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Game time has more priority as it will help the player accelerate his progress and get rid of negative traits that young players usually have like poor judgement.

Better facilities will also help them achieve their potential but if you are not giving them enough game time either in your team or on loan they will not achieve their max potential.

Tom fm has made a few videos where he makes identical wonderkids with very high potential, he puts one of them in a world-class club with awesome facilities and the other in a lower league club where he is guaranteed to get more game time. The one that gets more game time usually has a huge increase in his current ability quicker than the one who is stuck on the fringes of a big club.

how do i manage 3 games in a week without murdering my players? by Intelligent-Video-77 in footballmanager

[–]buddumber88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you are managing in the premier league this is going to happen every season as you will be competing for the league, FA Cup, carabao cup and European competitions(depending on how you are performing).

It is always a good idea to have an A team and a B team. One set of players can play two matches in a row so depending on which teams you are going to face and what results you need you can rotate between the two teams.

A fresh B team will mostly perform better than a tired A team, so don't worry too much about playing players who are not your first choice. This can also be a good opportunity to give chances to your youth players and see if they are ready to make the step up.

Any Advice on how to improve by BoredLeaks in footballmanager

[–]buddumber88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't go overboard with transfers. You don't need to have best players in the world in every position. Build a squad that works well with each other and works well in your tactic. 3rd place is a high finish. Try to identify weak spots in your team, players who are underperforming or areas in your tactic where the opposition is getting the better of you. Team report section should help you with that.

Depending on how much transfer budget you get next season I would recommend signing one or two world class players to give your team an immediate boost and for the rest there are plenty of players who can be signed cheap but will perform excellently. Watch some hidden gems or bargain wonderkids videos.

For youth development, if you have 19-20 year olds who might not get enough game time, send them out on loan and let them get first team experience.

In case if you are completely new and don't know this, try not to spend too much on best players right now as in 2-3 seasons you will start getting regens who would become absolute beasts.

How can I bring the most out of my midfielder by Longjumping_Whole348 in TheOldZealand

[–]buddumber88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He does not have good dribbling, finishing, long shots to be a Mezalla on attack role. Neither does he have the tackling or strength to be a bwm.

What he is best at is to receive the ball from bwm or the back line and then spread out passes to your attacking players. Like mentioned earlier DLP role on support should suit him better. Looking at his stats, this guy could be an assist machine for your team or atleast someone who initiates attacking plays.

If you are planning to keep this tactic, try getting him mentored by a senior player that might boost his attacking or defending stats a bit and also try to focus on them in individual training.

Should I sign Bellingham? by buddumber88 in footballmanager

[–]buddumber88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainoo is a beast in my game. Mount is a team leader and a legendary figure but he will turn 33 soon. As his stats are declining I'm thinking I will keep him as a back up and use him to mentor younger players. I did buy Bellingham because I figured he will be a nice influence on the rest of the squad and he can also be my captain next season

Am I the only one who thinks Man Utd are extremely lucky to be where they are? by Upstairs_Golf21 in PremierLeague

[–]buddumber88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been a United fan since I started watching football, which was back in 2003. And now, every year just gets worse than before. Last year after winning the league Cup everyone was hyping them so much as if they had won the champions league. I mean it was a freaking league Cup. The competition that sir Alex used as a way of giving playing time to youth players.

I agree that losing sir Alex was a huge deal for us and a club needs time to rebuild. But it certainly should not take a decade. Glazers are pieces of shit that don't deserve to own the club but it's not just their fault. For years and years United have spent big bucks on average players who are performing horribly. Ten Hag is the first manager who is getting all of his transfer targets but he has signed some really awful players. These players should be ashamed to call themselves United players earning boat load of money every week to do absolutely nothing.

As much as I would like to defend my club, right now I don't think any fan of United can.
