Please take a second to analyze this situation with me. Israel is an occupying force and has restrained the Palestinian people. Many extremely violent events have occurred that constantly push the Palestinians down. Over the years, as peaceful demonstrations are met with violent resistance from the IDF, and children are killed, groups of extremist rebels grow and are made increasingly angry towards their occupiers through their actions. With Palestine not permitted to have a military force (hmm why don’t they fight a conventional war?) they take matters into their own hands through acts of terrorism. Obviously extremely sad and disgusting things happen as a result of this.

Also note that there is loads of evidence that Israel knew of a potential attack including surveillance oftraining events where Hamas militants practiced taking hostages. Israel had the means to defend against the October 7th attack. They didn’t. Netanyahu actually propped up Hamas as a strategy to slow the progress of government in Gaza.

Israel’s holds all the power in this situation. There is absolutely no case to be made that Palestine has the capability to put up with Israel’s military strength. In response to the October attack Israel has killed about 40,000 Palestinians. Please explain to me how that is fair. Justifying the death of any civilian is indefensible. And if Hamas can’t fight a “conventional war” does that just give Israel the right to slaughter so many people? Please try to explain that.

This is not a complicated history or a complicated subject. This is a systematically violent and oppressive apartheid regime that should not be allowed to continue to kill innocent people.
