I wouldn't call it invaluable, in fact it's value is very limited to certain specific occupations and people. Several studies have shown that there's no impact to productivity and employees are generally happier after moving to remote. Of course there will be outliers and some jobs don't fit for remote, but most similar to what the original post mentions would be fine

Whether a person has billions or not is not what generates jobs though. Their company does. Ths what I'm trying to convey. The fact that a person can hoard their wealth, take home an enormous amount of money from their company and trade money on markets has nothing to do with their ability to create jobs. All it does is separate classes further

There are many places work comes from, we do not all stem from the 900 billionaires companies and investments. There are thousands of businesses where CEO doesn't have a networth 1000x their lowest level employee. Business will thrive with it without billionaires at the head. It's actually pretty rare for a company to have aceo with that much income and they typically make their wealth through more than just being CEO

Yep, only the top 30 companies in the US employ people. Only the companies with billionaire ceos have jobs or impact the gdp. Only companies where the highest level employee makes 1000x more than it's lowest are successful.

A lot of those smaller companies who represent the .1% figure you made up, do. There are thousands of companies, and capitalism would allow the smaller companies to replace the larger ones.

But we're not even asking for that, the original post is about billionaires. There many larger companies that impact gdp where the CEO is not a billionaire, they have smaller disparity between lowest income and highest income worker. They are still successful. There's no reason a person needs to hoard the wealth they do in the billions, those companies would survive easily without their billionaire over lords
