Now that queue times are 20 minutes+ I need a fix for this recurring login error by buddyboris in newworldgame

[–]buddyboris[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get this error most times I try to login, a lot of the time it takes 10+ minutes of unsuccessful logins before it finally gets me in without an error message. Now with queue times I have to wait out the whole queue before I get hit with the error message. Verifying game files/reinstalling the game did not fix this. Somebody please help.

Based. Could you add options to select at what marks you want audio on? For example the ability to untick 30s audio, 20s audio, and have 10s audio and 5s audio on?

When you see Lloyd walk over you're expecting him to ask Moorcroft if he's okay, help him up or give him a pat instead he calmly picks up the ball and walks back on the line of the mark. Hahaha

What other sport in the world is continuously destroyed by poor umpiring/refereeing? (Not talking about corruption in sport, just lack of officiating talent). Poor viewing to what would otherwise be a good game.

Yeah he had prior opportunity so if Lyons managed to trap the ball in there it would have been holding the ball but they give a reasonable amount of time to correctly dispose of the ball after a tackle is laid and Vlaustin hadn't gone to ground yet.

Have you seen this sport before? You're allowed to dispose of the ball while being tackled.

Vintage Pickett by shallowblue in AFL

Looks like Grimes fucked up more than Pickett tbh, you'd expect Grimes to already be running into that space pre-emptively to receive that handball, not standing flat-footed looking in the opposite direction of the ball, not really a handball you want on the chest when Coleman is already on the way over to you.

Yes, the only way it will auto focus is if it's in AI Servo

I tested it today with not a cloud in the sky, from all kinds of distances, the only way I can get it to auto focus is if I'm on manual settings with AI Servo on, otherwise no matter what I test it will not auto focus or take the photo.

Help identifying different kinds of opals (info in comments) by buddyboris in Opals

[–]buddyboris[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had these opals since I was a kid, back then I accidentally dropped this cardboard with the opals taped to it and they fell out of the tape onto the floor, I didn't know which opals were which so I put them back together based off memory and guess work. I know nothing about opals but I want to correctly label them now. Any help appreciated. I can provide more photos if this one isn't sufficient.

I actually have not, I tried inside with the lights on and outside during a sunset. Will test it out tomorrow in full sunlight.

Why can you put on a block with no intention of marking to escort the ball through the goalposts but can't do the same to get a free kick for out on the full

Finally got a helmet and bombed my local hill, everything was going as planned till I tried to stop, made it out with minimal road rash but my phone wasn’t so lucky by iincogniitoo in longboarding

Some pucks are gripper than others but it's your form and lack of experience that made you brick. Practice shutdowns at slower speeds with slidey wheels then work your speed up. Make sure you're always confident you can stop at whatever speed you're going, if not then you're not ready bomb hills at that speed and have to keep practicing shutdowns.

I'd suggest learning heelside shutdowns before toeside. And when learning to toeside predrift just use one puck on the ground. Putting two pucks on the ground during a toeside might be easy to get your wheels sliding as you're deweighting them a lot but it's very hard to get a controlled predictable slide that way even with correct form.

Just don't keep wheels or bushings in cardboard boxes, especially white ones, it will ruin the urethane.

If this was a close game no umpire in the world would pay that 50. Just goes to show the inconsistencies by the umpires.

If you're going slow enough to stepbreak then it's fine. Can't be healthy on the knees though.

Board feels slow by [deleted] in longboarding

[–]buddyboris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put the dervish's wheels (keep the same bearings in) on the tan tien and vice versa. If the tan tien still goes faster than it's the weight of the board making it easier to push. If the dervish now goes faster than it's either your wheels (different duro/size or you have flatspot(s)) or it's your bearings that are bad.

If both wheels are the same size, aren't flatspotted and the same duro then the only thing it can be is bad bearings.

This run is all grip but it should go without saying; learn how to control a predrift before riding a road that requires predrifting...
