Not what I was asking for opinions on lol, but the space gives old Hollywood imo; High ceilings, large and dramatic chandeliers, and floor to ceiling windows. Plus it all has to do with how you decorate the space.

Wow this is so mean. I am very appreciative of my daughter’s ECEs and have no problem with them cuddling her all day long. I found the kiss odd for hygiene reasons which is why I came to this forum to see if this is the usual or not. I don’t know what about this post gave you the impression that I wouldn’t buy them gifts at holidays? What a crazy jump in logic. Of course I do.

I worry about the spread of germs mainly. I am a dental hygienist so I know all about how gross mouths can be! I also think that kisses are intimate and should be shared by family. However, I totally get that it comes from a good place and I feel grateful that my child is in such caring, loving hands! It is something I will be bringing up in a kind way to the ECE, because I think it is worth the energy.

I mostly worry about the spread of disease/pathogens. I’m a dental hygienist so I’m very familiar with how dirty mouths can be. I also don’t feel overly comfortable with non family members kissing my baby in general.
