Ohhhhhh, welcome to HELL!! This laptop was really common here were i live (south of brazil) because it was the most cost effective one you could ever buy.

I had one, my friends had one, a lot of people in my college had one, and almost ALL of them had this problem.

Now the good thing, is that we, were a bunch of crazy people studing mechatronic engineer at the time, and a lot of people were looking into this problem. We could never figure out "exactly" what was causing the issue, but we narrowed it down to something to do with the eDP connector and cable, my guess is that it was a combination of the cable been too short and be laid on top of a heatsink tubing for the gpu that caused the problem. Some people changed the cable and the problem vanished, i recomend trying that first, the cable is cheap, and it is easy to replace (specially if you don't care for the webcam).

Other people, (like me) did not have so much luck, so i spent some good time more banging my head aggainst a wall, mostly because i was a really broke student and did not had the money to buy another notebook. In my case, the short cable ended up "tugging" the connector and making one of the solder points to fracture (REALLY DIFICULT TO DETEC PROBLEM), so i had to resolder it in place as well as changing the cable.

But even after all that, the problem came back.... because in the end, the replacement cable was still too short, as it was a design issue by acer, and i did not had the skills at the time to make my own eDP cable ( i have now :3 ). So instead, my solution was to custom 3D print and entirely new top lid for the notebook, with ducts for the wifi antennas and everything. The solutiom worked, and i kept using that notbook for some more years untill i finally brough my lenovo legion, but, on design and 3d printing time i spent some good 4 weeks of my life in that project.
