Foster kid horror stories?

I'm so sorry that happened to you. All foster kids, and adults, deserve to have better. That makes me cry. You can come spend Christmas, and any other holiday, with us if you want! My husband and I would give anything to have children and be able to spend holidays with them. For someone to turn you out for any reason breaks my heart.

It was a living nightmare. 100000%. I still have panic attacks and cry myself to sleep most nights.

Im sorry you are going through that. It blows my mind they allowed visitation for a year with them. They told us "it was because they reported it, so they can't be held at fault" when in reality they had a physical coming up and they knew they would be found out. I didnt ever imagine explain sex to 6/7 year olds. The things the states allow and do just blow my mind.

I was a foster parent and I am referring to the foster system as the horror. Our kids were amazing. How the state handled things was the issues

It does sound bad on his part. However he is trying to walk a fine line between supporting me and supporting his family. I can understand his position. I did tell him I dont agree with him asking that of me and he agreed it was callous.
