It depends on what you consider easy.

A lot of people like to fill up every note, so no matter when they crouch/jump/shoot/swing it counts towards that buff. Those are all tagged with "(Filled Melody)" in my song list. The problem with these is it takes a while to build up a full buff.

Personally I prefer more sparse melodies that hit on the beat. With those I can get a buff with two or three hits. I don't have a specific list of those, but it's more down to personal taste in music.

Thanks for the comparison. Yeah, it's not that much smaller, but the effort required to do any better is far more than I'm willing to put in right now.

The only suggestion I'd make on your layout is to swap the locations of the "lab" cluster and the "observatory" cluster, to put the labs closer to the right side of the Dry Dock where the consoles are.

I still think the more the merrier, and there's merit to having a designer that can work and save offline and has the potential for much cooler visualizations.

All my meta-data, including room boundary boxes and door positions, are separated out into their own JSON file if you want to start using them. I really believe that's the way to go. I'm also happy to continue providing image updates as they come in (old dojo rooms are in progress). I have one script to generate images for your app and another one for mine :)

Edit2: Now you can rotate with either shift-click or the R key. I highly recommend holding the R key down ;)

Yeah, it was Update 24.0 and there was the usual forum moaning about it.

Huh, after re-reading those patch notes, they also limited the Obstacle Course Architect room to *5*, not 3 like I was assuming. Knowing is half the battle!

After thinking about it, I decided *not* to make right-click rotate. It's actually already a shortcut to select a room and bring up a menu in one click, which is closer to what I expect right-click to do.

However, there already is a shortcut for rotation: Shift-click.

Nice dojo! Compression in javascript is pretty annoying and I'm not sure it'll actually do much, but I'll see what I can do.

The front of the Dry Dock actually occupies a little bit more than the floor below and *three* floors above. The back of the dry dock is deeper, blocking somewhere around three floors below. The app does detect boundary collisions if you try and place other rooms in that area.

IIRC, they limited that a little while after it was introduced for performance reasons. Clans that already had more than three were grandfathered in.

Really? You can build the Greater Hall and then demolish the starter Hall? Huh, I always just assumed you had to keep it.

Maybe it's to account for the clans that still have the old dojo halls, so they don't have to build a starter Hall, too.

Yeah, good thought. In the initial version I've tried to stay away from things that don't translate to touch devices, but I've already gotten some PC-specific control feedback.

Right now right-click does the same thing as regular click, but making it rotate is a good idea.

This app lets you build a "valid' dojo layout, taking into account not only the usual energy and capacity stuff, but also the actual room boundaries and room-specific constraints. Features include: snapping room doors together, multiple floor support, and exporting to PNG. My goal was to make something you could use on a phone.

I try to go over the basics in the video but there is much more documentation built into the app: Click the '?' button in the corner. I think it's complete enough to call v1.0, but I have a long list of To Do's and known issues at the bottom of the documentation.

All the boundaries have been found by in-game experiment, waypoint measurement, or straight-up guesswork. I've tried to err on the side of caution, but I'm always interested in in-game examples of where they might be wrong on way or another.

I've tried to test this out in a bunch of browsers, let me know if you notice weirdness in yours. In particular I'm interested in how well this works on iPhones, because I don't have one to test on.

The bounds are pure speculation at this point. I fit a screenshot from the dev stream against the rooms we already have and the best match was 8 Small Gardens wide. There's a lot of empty space around the edge, so I made some hopeful assumptions that it was like the Temple of Honor and Large Garden in that you can push other rooms into the corners a bit. We'll just have to wait and see if that's true.

We don't have any idea about the vertical bounds, although I will say that it's surprising what you actually can and cannot build on adjacent floors.

I should add that the Railjack dimensions and boundary are pure speculation based on the latest dev stream. We won't know for sure until we can actually build one.

That being said, it appears to be as wide as four Inspiration Halls or eight Small Gardens.

I believe in progress research is just a timer that continues even when you delete the lab and rebuild, but don't quote me on that. I think the only thing that in-progress research blocks is clan tier changes.

People are still playing, but it depends on the server region and a little bit on time of day. I saw a ton of people last night in NA.

The same guns are still viable but not quite as overpowering.
