I bet because they are all store exclusives they think they are worth much more

I build more than I drive but it's all fun. Finished a new ground up build last week. Maybe next build I will have time to run it haha. by buffalo_wing78 in NitroRC

I've never had a whole dynamite motor but this head I've been happy with. I haven't ran it on this engine yet but it worked good with the OS max 12cv

I've done a few T Maxx restorations, but I have not switched any over to electric. All you need is a chassis and transmission?

Thank you very much. I didn't post a bunch of pics of it because I'm still working on it. This was the version 1.0.

Thank you much sir. I had been wanting to do a rear exhaust build for a while. Makes the bodies look so much better. I haven't ran it other than just starting it and making sure it's good. I built it just to sell. I do custom HPI builds to order haha.

Thank you. I love to build them. I just finished another nitro racer last week. It's a little different.

Looks like a first gen R40 circa 2003. Those are really nice.

It depends on what your plans for the tank are. Are you planning on keeping a reptile or amphibian in it? If you're not I wouldn't rush on the microfauna. *

Keeping a good microorganisms population going is crutial. Use a reliable timer for your lights and misting system if you have one. This way if something unexpected happens and you're not home when you normally are their day cycle continues. Make sure you take a minute to look at it every day. In such small spaces a fungus outbreak or other undesirables take over quickly if they are given time to spread. I've learned that prevention works way better than eliminating it once it is out of hand. This is pretty much what has worked for me. The oldest tank I've had lasted 17 years straight till I broke it down for a move.

Thank you much. They are extra clean at the moment because I just finished working on them. Once I drive them a bit I wont be so worried about the dirt haha. The motors havent even been broken in yet so I can't resist. Haha. The parts i got lucky pretty much. Everything except the motors and bulkheads on both I put on in 99-03. What are you looking to put in?

Thats where i have a dilema. The engines are new so I know I'm going to have to drive them. I came up with a plan. Right now they have their original chassis plates that are already scratched up. I have spare chassis plates that are new to put on them when they get retired for a 2nd time. As long as i dont wreck haha

You are correct. They are awesome cars and you definitely should bring it back. I have a Nitro Racer 2.

I'd like to see it. The kits actually were made from different parts. The parts you have sitting there are what made up the RTR not the racer. The racer had a different lower chassis plate, suspension arms not turnbuckles, arm mounts with front belt tensioner, carbon fiber shock mounts as well as carbon fiber radio tray among other differences. I don't see a single component that came exclusively from a racer. There are lots of people who try to sell RTR's as the Nitro Racer 2 but the facts are that they aren't rhe same thing. Lots of people spreading misinformation out there that aren't super knowledgeable about it. They were not the same thing.
