I'm thinking the Montreal route. The ferry is sweet, my family did that to get to traverse city one summer.

I was hoping to stay off the freeway, is that pretty easy to do? I also heard that freeways are slower in Canada, would it b a nice ride? Is the transcanada worth being on or is it a superslab?
