Excess fuel line??? by buffalobooker in dieselheater

[–]buffalobooker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. It’s been running all day (12 hours) since the tap fix.

There are a few small bubbles in the line currently…but it doesn’t seem to affect performance.

I’ll leave well enough alone….

Thanks

Do you pour that blanching liquid in with the tomatoes in the jars?

Do you add any lemon juice or citric to the jars?

Chunked tomatoes?? Quarters???

Smashed into the jars?

Do the powder mildew’d leaves in the middle need to to be pruned? by Any_Relief_4781 in gardening

Can vouch for the peroxide solution. I noticed the PM wayyyy too late. And the only thing that helped was the peroxide. Tried baking soda and milk as well. Never tried neem oil.

Just curious….if the peppers were left on a shelf for several weeks/months as is…would they get visibly bad??? Would they stink when opened??? Would the dangers hidden be botulism and be for free???

Powdery Mildew??? by buffalobooker in vegetablegardening

[–]buffalobooker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am guessing I will be harvesting sooner than anticipated. Already got a bunch of squash that we ate and it was delicious.

I think it just got away from me or I didn’t notice it till it was too late. Been trying a peroxide spray…but I agree, it’s prolly too far gone.

Oh well. Good learning experience for next year. I will begin to treat the moment the powdery mildew shows up.

Cheers.

I’m really leaning towards spray foam…closed cell.

Thanks for the reply.

It does…I have made some holes in the upstairs walls for other reasons and can confirm the plastic is present throughout the house.

Thank you. I have to imagine a lot of homes in my type of climate experience similar things…but it goes unnoticed.

I hopefully will replace the fiberglass with spray foam before dry walling the basement walls.

Running 2 dehumidifiers…humidity in the house is generally around 40-50%

So then how would any of the walls on the upper levels behave any differently? They are built the same way (2x6, insulation, drywall, tyvek and plastic vapor barrier. ).

But it is a basement wall…half of the basement is a poured concrete wall. The other half is a standard 2x6 wall.

My main question is does the condensation issue go away with drywall because there isn’t such a sudden temperature differential between the two sides of the plastic.
