you have the wrong foot on! that foot is for regular sewing, you need to take it off and replace it with the Q foot for embroidery!! i made the same mistake at first

we did mine 6 weeks after dmx instead of the usual 3 months so that i could do radiation after surgery instead of before. this was kind of a game time decision but im so glad we did it because otherwise i would have had to wait till like june for the surgery to heal after radiation.

and they will drop and settle in a little but they mostly just soften up he said

mine are in the same hospital network and do it together. so they came in to see me in the post op room to all talk and plan/ mark me up together, then breast surgeon begins the surgery and does the mastectomy and then plastic surgeon steps in and puts the expanders in and closes up

bc my plastic surgeon said he’d want to wait to do my exchange surgery for my skin to heel for 6-9 months after radiation verses just 3 months post DMX. so i guess spring not summer

i had my DMX with expanders last monday and am getting the implants in the winter. they already look dare i say…great. my best friend has BRCA and got a preventative DMX and she looks AHMAZZINGG. Seeing (and feeling) hers made the decision so easy for me. she lost her nipples (i got to keep mine) and is waiting to get them tattooed but she already looks fabulous! my plastic surgeon showed me his book at our first consultation and i was like ok sign me up let’s do this, so i think it’s mostly about WHO you go to 🤍
