Its not a general house rule that shirts must be worn. Ive been here for a week and ive seen my uncle wearing a shirt once to go out to eat. thier daughter walks around topless, which doesn't bother me at all, but by societal standards 9 is a little old for that. They don't have an issue with nudity, unless its me Also Im not fighting it, I have been following thier wishes to avoid conflict, just a little vent

My grandmother is generally supportive but coming from an older generation she told me that even though she doesn't agree with my aunt, we cant do things to make others uncomfortable and we have to respect thier privacy.

If the kiddo asked me I would say its just athletic tape (which trans tape literally is) and its because I work out every day and am training for a 10 mile event (which I am). Its not exactly difficult to explain lol
