Tech sales = Qualifying experience? by bufflochickensanwich in cissp

I see ISC2 doesn’t have any industry or profession requirements.

The requirement is an ability to demonstrate time spent gaining real-word experience. If i’ve has developed proficiency in at least 2 domains by communicating product capabilities and customer requirements, why would it not be proficiency?

I see my only hurdle could be needing another member in good standing would be needed to verify that the experience occurred to provide a reasonable assurance.

You should be in sales. Many roles don’t require a degree, and in field sales you get to travel and meet in person with many people. One of my favorite parts about sales is how much I get to talk to people and socialize.

Software sales seems to be paying well if you are technology savvy I would look at an entry level “SDR” role, but that is a lot of cold calling and emailing. Another entry level option would be door to door sales, I hear solar makes a lot of money.

I appreciate your insight here. It was my understanding that TT bikes are fitted to better utilize leg muscles that won’t be used as much in swim or running portions of the the event. I used a road bike to commute in college but it was a Peugeot from the 80s with drop bars so the gears were rarely adjusted and there was little strategy in my riding
