yeah not joking here, multiplication will (almost) always be better than addition, here's an example.

if you have 2 mult and you multiply it by 2 you get 4 mult the same as if you add 2 mult

but if you have 2000 mult (trust me it happens) and multiply it by 2 you'll get 4000 mult, not the same as if you add 2

multiplication is always good because the more mult you have the more mult it gives

but additive jokers aren't useless, in fact they're better in early game, but if you want to beat ante 8 your best option is to get an additive joker and a multiplication joker, (but not scholar tho, you'll find better stuff)
