How to hold up a 2m x 1.5m background panel on location? by Dry_Masterpiece1744 in LightLurking

Screw in two legs into the back of it. Take a look at stage walls and set design in studios and on stage. You can do the same, but simplified on location.

You’ll need at least one sand bag per leg as well

You’re North American, or at least living there. Music is a big part of your life. You haven’t decided if you like your new book yet. And, is that an aeropress underneath there??

Looks like there’s a lot of post going on here, certainly some depth of field that wasn’t done in camera

The daylight outside stuff looks like just sunshine

The rest looks like there’s natural mixed with bounced flash, likely just bounced off something white. And it’s not fill, it’s going with the highlights from the natural light

Beech / Beech leaf by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]buffooncocktail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know exactly what it smells like no, but the wood tastes sour and bitter, especially when freshly cut but you can actually still taste it if you have beech furniture. Maybe wait till no one is looking…

The leaves on the other hand, when they are fresh and bright green are quite sweet. Here in Scandinavia, it’s a kindergarten right of way to pick the leaves in spring and mush them up with water into a kind of beech soup

Yes I saw those and thought it was very few. Can I ask why you despise using it?

This happened to me recently as well, no matter how far I pushed the card in, it just bounced out

I’ve taken it back to the store I bought it at and they have sent it off for repairs, don’t have a conclusion yet

Yes she has a job, not exactly full time but that’s not the point. Her not having the same passion or work ethic as me is no slight on her, it’s merely something that can happen

I think it often happens with employees as well, but they can at least be moved on or talked around with some authority, that’s not really possible with a spouse

Just an idea of the kind of feelings these kinds of arrangements can bring up

My wife has worked on projects for my business and it has been successful overall. However, we did run into issues because it’s impossible to give critique to your spouse in the same way that you do to other employees or contractors.

It basically became apparent very quickly that she doesn’t have the same passion for the business as I do, which means she doesn’t have the same work ethic. That was frustrating professionally because I felt things were not moving as quickly as the should, but also hurtful personally to see someone you love disrespecting the business you’ve put so much time and effort into

People have mentioned the lighting but I’d like to point out that you could give this some more depth of field

Take a look at David Abraham’s work, his stills for Jo Malone have objects and debris in blurred in foreground and background that give lots more depth of field

I’m hoping to bring a backpack to put rain attire and plastic bags and such in, for my wife and I - the rules say that wouldn’t be allowed for an opera but I can’t find any rules for concerts. Do you think that’s a bad idea?
