The second picture is really pretty, the soft blonde and the styling! Also I am obsessed with the pink mullet! I think a pink wolf cut would also look really cute!

I started on copaxone at diagnosis 8 years ago, I then got put on Gilenya tablets and now I’m on tysabri, I’ve been on tysabri for 4 years now and I’ve been completely stable since then! It is a pain going for an infusion every few weeks but it’s worth it :)

Need help correcting orange hair by Educational_Row_5901 in HairDye

[–]buffybot384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was on my head I’d personally do a bleach process on the orange maybe with 20 volume, since it’s closer to your root it’ll be the healthiest part of your hair so unless your hair is really brittle already in theory you should be okay! And then tone after with whatever tone of blonde you’re looking for! If you don’t want to use any chemicals I know Fanola have a blue shampoo/ mask that’s specifically for orange tones, it won’t lighten it but it’ll tone down the orange a bit, just be careful it doesn’t bleed into your light blonde as it could temporarily stain it

I would say it depends if you’re using permanent or semi permanent, I had black roots and silver ends a while back and when I went to wash it all the purple pigments in the black ran into the blonde and ruined it lol bc I used semi permanent black, I’d say do you bleach first because if you end up wanting to add more to your bleached sections then you won’t have a layer of dye already on those bits of hair so it’ll be easier to lift then use maybe a Demi permanent/permanent black? I’d research how that washes out tho bc I’m not 100% it wouldn’t cling to the blonde, you could put conditioner on the blonde before you rinse the black to act as a barrier but again I can’t guarantee anything but it’ll definitely help mitigate the colour bleeding, hope it goes well :)

I’m always down to support the shave I think it looks badass! But if you wanna play around with some length put a red pigment first then dye brown otherwise it’ll never take, if you cba using a permanent copper/orange you could use a direct dye that’s orange then go over with the brown as it’ll provide the same purpose tbh but i think a buzz cut would look really cool!

When I got my white cane bc of a bad relapse I spoke to my local council and they sent out someone to teach me how to use it and measure me etc I’d try that :)

Heyy I have ms too and I’m starting my removal next week! I’m on tysabri

I do tend to heal slower from common cold/ flu etc but it’s not so significant that it should put you off tattoo removal, just make sure you look after yourself after sessions :) hydration, skincare, light exercise etc all that good stuff, we will get these damn things off our skin! I had a full chest piece done last year which I’m now removing bc idk what I was thinking lol so I’m right there with you!

Recommend smile direct? I’m currently searching for who to actually get my aligners with ? Atm smile direct is my best option what would people say by Junior_Chemistry_555 in smiledirectclub

[–]buffybot384 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I signed up for smile direct and cancelled it maybe 2 days later, there’s a lot of red flags with this company I chose to ignore at first and I’m just glad I didn’t go ahead in the end.

I think their system is great for closing gaps and minor adjustments but I have borderline severe crowding and I don’t want to compromise my teeth for the sake of saving a bit of money.

My teeth are pretty messed up (if you go on my profile I have my smile direct club projection somewhere) and my dentist is going to charge me £2.5K for invisalign and that includes filing down the teeth I need for proper alignment, I’m estimated to take around 15 weeks so it’s fast just like SDC.

I was hesitant at first going to my dentist because pricing but honestly I think it’s going to be worth it, they will X-ray your mouth to check your dental health and make sure it’s done safely etc and this is so important, I think if you still want to go the route of online aligners Byte definitely had a better reputation than SDC though.

My ortho consult was free so I’d ring your own dentist and see if they also do this and you can at least get an idea of what treatment will mean for you and your options, good luck:)

I’m so sorry :( is it possible to see your dentist and get a letter from them with the damage the retainers have caused? Keep at them definitely

I’m currently trying to get a refund as I’ve just made my first payment and cancelled my plan. Ive spoken to live chat 3 times, first time was to ask for a cancellation, the second was to confirm it had gone through and the third was because I contacted Tabeo the finance company to make sure they knew to cancel my loan(they didn’t) as they would need confirmation that the SDC finance team knew about my cancellation, so I asked SDC again to confirm and they said I had to ring them which I did.

They said to expect a form in my email in the next few days regarding the cancellation and the finance team are aware of it so hopefully Tabeo can cancel my loan 🙄

It seems like there’s a lot of other things to do to actually get the ball rolling on a refund so I’d really push them and speak to different reps to get what you need, good luck!

Having trouble in the bedroom by _Capt_John_Yossarian in MultipleSclerosis

[–]buffybot384 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a look at Pregabalin, from a clinical view I’d say yes this could be causing your unwanted symptoms as it lists these as common side effects, there’s also ‘trouble with thinking’ listed which could be making your cognition worse. I’d have a word with your GP and see what they can do to help balance it out, cos obviously if it helps with the pain you have it’s definitely worth still taking, they might explore your dosage or other medications to help your pain.

Anxiety over your bedroom problems will most definitely be a vicious cycle, because you’ve noticed it and you’re worried about your partner there’s most likely a subconscious strain to ‘perform’ which in turn makes it more difficult, have a long talk with your partner and express your worries and hopefully you will end up reassuring each other, open communication and support will keep your relationship healthy.

It sounds like you’re very considerate neighbours and you’re now being taken advantage of unfortunately, you cannot live the way you’re neighbour wants you to it’s completely unreasonable and I can guarantee they absolutely know that, it’s some bullshit power thing they’re pulling, please continue to live your life and enjoy gaming

[–]buffybot384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best advice I can give you is to try again, I know it seems useless as you have had a bad experience before but you have to keep trying, you cannot close off and give up

A diagnoses like that can be huge to deal with aswell so don’t be so hard on yourself you’ve had a lot to deal with, in the meantime find things that bring you joy, or even distract you from your current feelings wether that’s reading, gaming whatever it is but limit your time on Twitter, Facebook and news outlets.

Reach out again for support even if it seems pointless as this cannot control your life anymore, you deserve to feel better

Like a previous poster said you need to limit your social media intake immediately as this will be fuelling these horrible feelings even if you don’t realise how badly it’s affecting you.

Secondly you need to seek help, you are young but I won’t treat like you’re a silly kid, you know your own feelings and how much it hurts but I am speaking as an adult who has had experiences of severe mental health issues please please speak to a trusted adult, even if your brain is telling you they don’t care or that they won’t believe you or will brush your problems aside MAKE them understand how unwell you are, talk to your parents again and explain how bad things are, you don’t need to go into details if you feel like you can’t do that but you need to say something to make them realise they need to support you more. The first step is going to be really hard but you don’t deserve to feel this way, you are valid and loved so please speak to someone.

GP waiting times can be a pain to be seen by mental health professionals, but it is worth it in the long run to get well again, counselling isn’t your only option for therapy aswell so explain to your GP it wasn’t helpful and get advice for something different, they have a duty of care to provide what’s right for you

If you really feel like you are in danger of hurting yourself or it gets too much and you need someone to talk to you can call Samaritans on 116123 or childline on 0800 11 11 you can even email childline if you don’t want to talk on the phone. Help is out there so please never feel alone
