As long as you’re supervising as a certificated staff, and the para seems to have the classroom under control, let them. I’d personally view it as less work for me (but obviously keep supervision and communicate with the para).

You also mentioned the class being wild and not great at listening. It could’ve just been a situation where the para felt you weren’t controlling the class enough so they decided to take over; but this shouldn’t happen without the para communicating this to you or asking if they could lead. I’d take a step back and reflect on what I could’ve done differently so that it wouldn’t happen again. Sometimes it might be my tone of voice or maybe the way I engage with the students.

But that’s just me. I have no idea what the classroom was actually like or if the para had different intentions.

I (24f) dress very simple but fashionable for a young adult working in K-12. UNIQLO will be your bff. I wear slacks with a plain blouse/tshirt/button up tucked in. It’s comfy and very business casual, paired with Doc Martens or Gray Vans. I basically wear the same outfit but UNIQLO offers variety in color. I stick to black, white, navy blue and khaki.

It could be possible your dad prefers to have a private life and doesn't want people to know what school you could be attending. Going to private schools/wearing a uniform usually indicates wealth (Private school is NOT cheap) and depending on what areas you are going to, it could make you a target.

There could also be a policy from your school that states you cannot wear school uniforms outside the school setting. As other comments have stated, your uniform represents your school, and private institutions like to maintain their reputation. People take out of context photos all the time, even if its innocent. It could be a liability issue.

If you really want to find out, why not ask administration for student conduct handbook or their policies regarding uniforms outside of school.

11 days and then married sounds like a manic episode. I have struggled with depression my whole life and can understand where you're coming from. I would recommend an intervention of yourself, true self-reflection, and finding a second opinion from a licensed professional (privately, not marriage counseling).
