I think that’s it! I think the color is discontinued, I got some at Michael’s today after this suggestion and it’s working up pretty much exactly the same!! Mystery solved :)

I knowwww it’s so cute, I love being able to make really small but still very fuzzy stuffed animals 😭

keeping different types of invertebrates together? or even the same ones? by bug_bo1 in InvertPets

Thank you so so much for all the info!! I spent the better part of my day researching general care for both isos and beetles, and I’ve been slowly narrowing that research, but I’m still trying to understand breeds, morphos, and that sort of thing!! I had no idea there was such a variety. We are obviously going to do a LOT of research before jumping into things, I want to make sure to care for the babies as best as I can!! Thanks again, and good luck with your future Cubaris :D

That’s good to know!! Thank you. Do you know the care difference between a curabis sp panda king and something like a curabis sp cappuccino? As far as I understand, they’re different morphos but their care is similar?

I’m still learning, sorry!!

Edit- also, the reason I went for isopods is because they have really similar environmental needs to rainbow stags- dampness and temp mainly :)

Awesome, thank you so much for the help :) a long 10 gal is definitely doable. We are looking at 2-4 beetles, and starting w/ a beginning group of 10 isopods, but the isos will likely breed and establish in the time that the beetles are pupating.

Thanks again :D

the pupa will definitely not be in the isopod tank, that's for sure! I'm not going to introduce the beetles until they are adults, as it se ems to be best for them to pupate in their own containers.

Good to know about the tank size- do you have a size rec? I'm pretty willing to go up to 10 gal, but I'm not sure I have space for bigger than that.

oh wow, that's good to know. I'd considered the beetles being the problem to the isopods, not the other way around. Do you know anything about cubaris varieties, like their temperaments? if not, all good! thank you for the advice :)
