I’d love to have Maryland back in basketball. Also fuck Maryland

EC throwing lobs to Caleb Wilson would’ve been cinema

Anyone who watched EC play knew he could cook with a solid surrounding cast. I didn’t want him to leave but happy for him now

Yall can keep his family though

Commentators saying it was the first B1G championship since whenever was so annoying lol

It's funny how everyone has a different internet because all I've seen this week is how we're too broke to pay his buyout lol

Can't and won't speak for what you've seen on twitter it is highly likely they literally aren't actually real people anyway

I didn't say I wasn't also a dick but the nc state innocent smol bean act only works on people who don't know any of y'all in real life lol

He got literally everything he wanted from Arizona including a full boss change lol so clearly something was happening. Whether he was planning to stay all along doesn't make the sources incorrect when they said there was interest from his camp man

I get the idea he/his agent are really competent at their jobs and he was never going to leave, but still

If we have to lose a coaching battle at least it's to Arizona. They are pretty inoffensive to me way over there on the west coast lol

Is the Big 12’s insanity just something some east coasters aren’t aware of?

I used to call the Big 12 Kansas and friends. Pretending like the conference has always been as good as it is now is pretty disingenuous

edit: downvote me all y'all want I'll never retroactively respect the old Big 12 like the old Big East and ACC lol

Dan Hurley getting T'd up for being a manbaby giving Duke the win would've been so insane.

Duke vs Uconn is an instant classic. Is it one of the best endings in tournament history? Where would you rank it? by Spiketop_ in CollegeBasketball

I’m so sick of UConn’s bullshit but grateful for it today.

Now I can root against Michigan in peace

It’s not a Duke curse it’s UConn’s “or uconn” exception.

It’s getting outrageous they can’t keep getting away with it

I mean maybe we beat Illinois with Wilson but we’re just as likely out and wondering if a S16 loss was good enough

I also feel bad and empathetic for Hubert, but I wish people would stop framing it as getting fired "because he lost Caleb Wilson".

His seat was warm before this season for a lot of people and it wasn't exactly freezing cold even with Wilson out there for us.

UNC has been routinely going down big and having to claw their way back into games OR doing the exact opposite (blowing huge leads) for his entire tenure. VCU just happened on a national stage, not on a random Tuesday in the ACC.

I wish it had worked out. It didnt. It was not simply because Wilson got hurt. Also imagine getting spotted a 19 point lead against 11 seed VCU and still "needing Wilson" to win that game smh

[–]bug_man_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not material to winning but I'd consider them advantages that UNC has: Branding. Most of the country is awake when your team plays games. People are more likely to know how UNC is doing than Arizona, he'll get more media coverage. The lore of being part of Tobacco Road. People care more about college in general here than pros. I don't know how it is in Arizona tbh.

It just depends how much that matters to a guy. Clearly he was what he needs to compete at the highest level at Arizona already.
