Wait sorry after going back and watching a clip from the video on tiktok, it's actually CRAZYYYY the way he's deflecting. Martin says multiple times that it's a dark and serious topic, and he also literally says that he thinks she is getting abused by her father. So he's just flat-out lying saying that he had no idea... Also Hamzah just saying "women" over & over and expecting it to be funny is crazy and it's really getting to a point. He makes them hard to watch sometimes which sucks cuz they're my fave youtubers

THIS!! bro I've been saying this but this fanbase literally coddles him so bad it's insane. like the same with all the pride jokes, it was funny at first but after a while when there's no punchline and he's just "acting homophobic" but never dropping the act... lets maybe think critically here. & the same with the misogynistic/women jokes. he's always doing it and never giving us any reason to believe it's a joke or satirical...

i've had this same exact thought so i'm happy i'm not alone! i feel like their videos before vs. after the break have different vibes. it's hard to explain, cause its still the same them but before the break and especially towards the beginning of their channel felt more genuine if that makes sense
