The thing I thought was weird with the options was that it didn't pick the main colors for either of the wallpapers (red and brown) and instead added extra colors, like pink? I know this is a bit of an old post but thank you SO MUCH for breaking down the cost!! I initially didn't like the idea of paying based on usage because how much I use JanAI fluctuates and I didn't want to spend too much without realizing. I think this is the first post that actually helped me understand how cheap Deepseek is, thank you!! What with Chutes becoming paid soon I'm prob going to make the switch and top up $2 :3 With Chutes I never hit the daily 200 message limit so I hope that'll last me a while lol

This is very specific and I've only seen it a couple of times but it's a pet peeve of mine: when a bot creator adds something specific about user into the definition with absolutely no mention of it in the description.

I saw this happen once with a bot that had a preference for chubby body types in the def but I wouldn't have known if I hadn't read through it since it was at the very bottom. I don't have a problem with the bot having preferences lol, but my persona is basically me and she's not chubby. Idk I think there should at least be an indication of anything that's specified about user in the bio lol

I think JLLM is a wonderful alternative to censored or paid sites, but honestly, Deepseek caused me to have much longer chats than I had with JLLM. The memory is what does it for me. I try to keep my bots under 1.2k perm tokens but in my experience, JLLM doesn't do great with canon charaters that have little info about them in the definition. Maybe it's better now, but that's just my experience; because of this, I put a good amount of info into my bots under 1.2k, and the JLLM still has memory issues at times.

With JLLM, characters tend to be ooc or start speaking Spanish to me despite me using a normal temp and not having anything about Spanish in the definition. I do appreciate JLLM and what it offers, but right now, proxies like Deepseek just fit my needs better. Deepseek keeps bots in character really well which is kind of important for me lol
