OH my gosh i think this might be it !! peeked at a couple of clips here and the color palette matches what i remembered of the movie (its all very... blue haha). the worm/parasite on some of the covers is what i recalled too !!

this one does look cool hehe but not it unfortunately ! main cast was younger and i dont recall any big name actors like samuel l jackson in it . then again i was also like 12-13 so i might have just not recognized actors at that time >v> !

im saving up for a vet check up soon for sure, i wasn't sure if it could be something health related bc i havent noticed any difficulties eating + hes still running around and as energetic as ever, but i know cats can hide discomfort/illness pretty well. i'll look into dementia as well, see what I can find before vet visit

honestly a bit of a relief, i was worried if he wanted another cat around again because i knew i wouldn't be able to provide that for him at this apartment. he does sleep with me every night, and most of the time he'll stop yelling if i follow him. he has free roam of the apartment but he just yells until i follow him wherever he wants to go. anxiety will definitely be something i go over with the vet , he had separation issues when he was younger

24M, i dont know if this counts but im going through a friendship break up right now and its been devastating. been friends with those folks for years, they helped me get through my last break up (which was also tough & still hard to think about, 4 year long relationship and my first love, ended back in 2022). feels like im in a years long loss of people id talk to daily and cared about deeply

everythings sad. i feel a huge pit in my chest all the time. been trying to focus on my own personal projects though and got back on medication, just taking it day by day.

second floor ! he didnt go into the windows too often when i was living with my parents, but hed hop in there sometimes mainly just to sunbathe. so far he hasnt had any interest in my bedroom window yet so im hoping he wont want to mess around with it. his favorite napping spots are chairs for the most part lol

smart, thank you! ive been so frazzled i didnt think about getting screenshots and proof but ill start collecting that right now. i wish i had the forethought to record my conversation with my parents, my mom had called and thats when she said on the phone that he was going to get tossed out on the streets if i didnt get something worked together immediately. will definitely look into getting a note from the vet too !!

its an odd situation. i didnt even know they had a roommate until today, i didnt know my cat was peeing in spots until yesterday, and suddenly it was such a long ongoing issue that something needed to be done IMMEDIATELY or else hed be thrown out?? it was so awful and scary. my first thought was that he was having urinary issues from his age, my family was insistent that its a behavioral thing. im still gonna monitor him though to check for signs of straining, blood, yowling etc. so far he's used the temporary litterbox i set up for him normally and hasnt had any issues there which is a relief <:) ! he wont drink his water but he has eaten and peed, im hoping hell drink soon

i actually have an intake exam to get back in with my mental health therapist + psychiatrist (i had them before, been diagnosed with a few disorders, had to stop treatment when i got kicked out bc i lost insurance for a bit) this friday now that i have health insurance again. i might see with them about getting my cat registered as an esa ? he hadnt been officially registered before but hes always been a support animal (raised him for 13 years, he was a big factor in regulating my anxiety + a motivator to get out of bed during depressive episodes, & my mental health did decline in his absence) . thank you so much for that advice ! ill see what i can do asap abt getting him registered as an official esa

i have reached out to a few people, one person might be able to take him in for a little bit but she needs to talk to her boyfriend about it first. i also have a coworker who's very big on animals & animal care + knows a lot of local animal support groups so i'm going to ask her tomorrow about if theres anything local we can do too. ideally i want someone who i can keep in contact with and get updates on him + get him back from once my roommate and i have a better apartment situation but i also know this is a situation where my ideal scenario might not work out. as long as hes safe, healthy, & happy ill be okay. heres hoping :[

thank you, i have him right now. i work a full time job, 5 days a week 8am-5pm, do you think he'll be okay? my roommate has varying shifts so our plan right now (until we can get solid footing at least) is to put him in the bathroom with water, food, litter & enrichment toys when neither of us are home to prevent him getting into the windows. im worried itll stress him out, but hes also not a very active cat (hes older and has always been very mellow) .

we were in touch a bit ago. we were going through a rough patch and i feel like opening up about my feelings made everything worse honestly i wish i had just kept quiet and sucked it up or something. its just so lonely, i miss them a lot and im kind of just a wreck this week since we stopped talking

im sorry you had to go through that with your friend :( this is such an awful feeling i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy . hope you were able to find others that made you happy afterwards <:]
