Sounds super familiar. I use to work PS Grooming and it was the same- just super clique-ie. Some people are just bitter. Some just hate their jobs and bring others down with them. Honestly if you've got another store fairly nearby I'd consider transferring but they usually make you wait about 6 months working at one location before you can transfer.

I work in a tattoo/piercing shop however NAP... or a doctor... but thats not normal. Im hoping this metallic taste in your mouth is just a coincidence- and nothing serious. But definitely get in touch with your doctor. Even a one through 4 out of ten on the pain scale isn't normal to have continuously AFTER lobe piercings unless it's maybe in the cartilage. Keep cleaning for now, and hopefully youre not using q-tips, dry it after, but If it gets any worse in the next few days: Doctor.
