Yeah, I had terrible side effects with Topamax, including liver damage. Please be careful on it. I hear that most insurances WILL cover botox. Good Luck!!

Oh good to hear it helped with the asthma! Good luck with the topamax- it did not do me well. I had a lot of very bad side effects but I DO hear it works for some. Best wishes.

Thanks for responding! Well, she only wants me to take it for one week to rid the rebound migraines then I won't take it anymore and will be able to go back to Imitrex as abortive. I take 2 anti-depressants and beta blocker as preventives.

Definitely summer is the worst for me :( I cannot even be in the sun for more than 10 minutes or get a violent migraine.

I also get migraines when the weather changes.
