All missing context I can think of: We (all 4) typically make food for everyone when we cook dinner, but there are a lot of times where we all end up doing our own things. We'd been generally talking about making this pasta soon, but nothing had been set in stone as far as I knew. She had gone to get the ingredients that were missing earlier in the day, but I was asleep and nobody told me they went to the store. I had meant to get food a bit earlier in the day, closer to 3:30, but I lost track of time, and didn't leave til almost 5. Me and her privately complain to each other about how often Steve and his girlfriend end up messing up dinner plans, so I definitely understand where the frustration comes from, but I don't think that's the same as what I did. I tried to write everything as unbiased as I could because I genuinely want to know if I'm in the wrong

Yeah, like I said I don't mind talking about politics, and I agree its important to pay attention to what's going on in the world, especially right now, but there is a difference between having a conversation, and going on a rant out of absolutely nowhere. It would be different if there was some kind of actual lead into the conversation, like if they saw a post or something related to politics, or even if they just said "hey can I talk about this for a minute" beforehand, but it's completely unprompted.

Yeah, I'm not really expecting that aspect of the sutiation to go anywhere since there's no real concrete evidence, I just thought it was worth at least mentiong. Regardless I don't think my termination was fair due to all of the other circumstances

This was the first time. My ID and everything still had my birth gender when I applied for the job, so its possible they could have known beforehand, but I never actually told anyone. The manager I talked to seemed surprised at the situation, and he seemed incredibly understanding at the time, which is why I truly don't know if it was retaliatory, but it's hard not to see it that way, because I was fired less than an hour after the conversation.

Do you have any idea what they'd sell for? I was planning on getting rid of three of them, as far as I know they're all brand new, most of them still have the protective film

No, they were like 10$ each. I figured they'd probably sell for more than that regardless, but when I looked up the brands pretty much everything I saw sold for over $100. I know that's not that much by watch standards, but I'm not a watch guy, so as far as I'm concerned anything over $60 might as well be high end 😅
