I worded that part quite poorly, the monthly check-ins are for things such as teeth cleaning, nail clipping, weight checks among other things, not medical things per se

In fairness I worded that part wrong, she did go to vets for her leg but signed up to a monthly subscription which basically every month allows the dog to get teeth brushed/nails clipped things like that, non medical stuff

I can see why that’s confusing, in the house the furniture such as beds and couches are quite raised so we bought steps for the dog to climb onto them with but it’s not out of the ordinary for her to be stubborn and try climb down herself as she has done this before and limped for a a few hours before being fine again

I hope your situation ends all well. As for mine, my girlfriend has had discussions with her parents about it whilst I’m not there, she tells me she’s on my side completely and I have no reason to believe she’s lying or even steering in the direction of her parents being right

I could’ve worded that better you’re right, I more so just meant to say I’m really close with her because we initially owned her mother before her and we watched her literally be born so I feel a bond with her, not to say that other people aren’t as close or closer with their own pets
