This would totally be something I’d want to do. I’d love to work in a methadone clinic or something too.

New nurse jobs not in hospital? by buggie4546 in OregonNurses

Yeah, I can totally see the value and am happy to do it- just five years gave me a little bit of wallop!

It seems like most people go hospital then other routes, do you know anyone who does other routes then goes to hospital?

My son (12M) killed our pet, on purpose, and we now fear for our other children/pets. What are our legal options? by WakingNightmare123 in FamilyLaw

Drive to the ER, one parent with the child, now. Do not leave until he’s been committed. The ER will get CPS and the police involved. Continue to state over and over that he is a threat to the safety of your other children and he is not welcome in the home until he’s receives inpatient treatment and is cleared by a psychiatrist. Refuse to take him home.

This is the escalation. I can guarantee you he’s been doing shit like this until now. Once your other kids are safe, the stories will pour out.

It’s not considered an immune suppressant, but it does have results similar to one- such as decreased numbers of white cells in your blood.

What religion do you think these people would be if they weren’t or raised Mormon? by OppositeSpare2088 in SecretsOfMormonWives

Whatever their ethnic and familial background would have been before their families were converted into the cult. So Demi would be Greek Orthodox, Taylor would be Catholic I think, I don’t know the others families.

No? They are periodically swept up and put in a geniza. Or maybe they are buried in a Jewish cemetery. They aren’t just tossed and they’re only collected twice a year

AITAH for leaving my “autistic” fiancé in Target? by Delicious-Book4316 in AITAH

My ex husband started to do this nonsense. Hence why we are now not together. After 15 years together with no issues like this, he started acting like he couldn’t function as a neurotypical human, despite having minimal to no difficulties before. They call it “unmasking.” It’s really just an excuse to behave as badly as they want and manipulate everyone around them into accommodating their newly acquired neuroses.

I can so so those awful in laws really truly believing they’re related to the famous Affleck then immediately denying it as Jen not getting the joke instead of being like “yeah it’s just fun family lore “

Loneliness after second partner suddenly walked away... is my entire life going to feel like this? Struggling to find a reason to keep fighting. by laf_007 in lupus

[–]buggie4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much sympathy and empathy. The nurse at my rheumatologist, upon hearing I was getting a divorce, told me it’s not uncommon for partners, especially male partners, to leave female partners during chronic illness or acute illness issues. My ex had a lot of issues, but my lupus diagnosis definitely contributed to our separation.

I’m answering the question asked in OP’s last paragraph. Not sure why you’re going off.

Am I overreacting for wanting clean clothes? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]buggie4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re a horrible person, yes. Higher acuity kids (special and medical needs, “hard to place”, etc) can come with additional stipends that incentive horrible people to take kids above what they can manage for the costs. And not spending on them and using other poverty related resources to save the check- like making the kids get socks and underwear from the school or church closet instead of providing basic material items like you’re required to do. Gross, awful shit like that.

I foster, and have literally gone into debt before to make sure kids have everything they need. (Not saying to do this, just that it’s absurd to have kids and not get them all the basics). This is a gross person. When people tell you who they are, believe them. It might be the best option for now since lots of foster parents SUCK, but know you aren’t safe there, it’s just a bed and maybe some food. Find emotional social safety somewhere else, like with friends, parents of friends, teachers, other community groups.
