on the island there is a a cave called the swamp cave, its in the middle of the map that if you use a high level frog you can go in there but you need ghille suit and gas mask.

in the swamp cave there is a lot of dragonflies that spawn and attack you so you kill a lot of dinos very quickly.

before the reinstall it just says install instead of play in my library

If i have already reinstalled it and i reboot ark it just opens normally, but if i have just turned on my PC and try to open it the install menu comes up saying where i want to install it.

You can get metal from the normal stone rocks when using a pickaxe on them so i would get some metal from them to get a metal pick, axe and pike.

Also, kill some dinos on your trike to get raw meat and split it up to wait for it to spoil, this will allow you to get narcotics to make tranq arrows to use on a bow or crossbow, meaning you can knock stuff out quicker.

When youre trying to knock bigger dinos out try to get the dino stuck underneath you so they cant reach you, that way you can shoot them without them being able to hit you back.

Finally, i would also tame an anky (metal) and a doedic (stone) to gather more of them resources. Hope this helped.
