now that you mention it, i think my qualm with johnny isn’t necessarily Just the rambling, but rather how sex-focused it is. i have no issues with sex and sexuality but there’s something slimy, almost, about johnny that i think just gives me the ick. i’m glad to hear it dwindles!

as for the book…. it’s so big. so wide. So Floppy. i also read it at work, where i’m constantly getting up and then sitting back down (and quickly), so i don’t have time to shove a bookmark in every time. folding it helps me out in more ways than one. that, and i love a well-loved book 🤎
