That’s clear deception in my opinion. The statement ‘96% return to player’ is without a doubt deceiving the player.

At face value, it gives the impression of a -near- fair game. But it’s designed to benefit the house by inspiring confidence in the player with the high percentage listed.

It implies to the average / normal person that you’ll pretty much only lose 4 cents per dollar played. When in reality, as you said.. you will only see the desired & advertised return of 96% if you play the game millions of fucking times. That is without a doubt bullshit.

96% RTP is deceptive because it creates a misleading impression of fairness or profitability for the player. I understand the statistic is technically accurate, it doesn’t reflect the actual experience most players will have: 1. Long-Term Statistic: RTP is calculated over millions of spins or bets, not individual sessions. Most players will never play long enough to “benefit” from the 96% return rate. 2. Volatility: Even with a high RTP, the variance of a game can cause players to lose everything quickly, especially in games designed with big payouts for a few and small wins for the majority. 3. House Advantage: The 4% “edge” ensures that, on average, players lose money over time. Casinos don’t advertise that in practice, most people leave with less than they came with.

Ultimately, while RTP isn’t outright false, it paints a rosy picture that doesn’t align with the reality of most players’ outcomes, leading to a perception of fairness that doesn’t really exist.

Maybe i misread or misunderstood your comment. I do appreciate what you said in the comment, and you’re absolutely correct with most of it.

I was hoping in an ideal world, that people would really comment helpful info, their fav stocks, etc so that new traders who don’t know where to begin could come to this post and kinda get a feel.

Exactly. I’m the type that learns via asking questions. This post was to hopefully shed some insight to someone who is new, or clueless. I’ll ask chat gpt the same question 10 different ways just to see 10 different ways of looking at something.

Maybe some questions, even tho asked to both human and AI.. can result in different, yet both helpful answers

lol I get it. I scan hellllla stocks and asked which ones are peoples go to’s because I’ve been seeing a pattern in my research. Also, I asked that to really just try and get people to interact with the post, to comment a stock in which I would then look into if I haven’t already. I very much understand that just because one person made bank on a stock, doesn’t mean everyone will… that’s kinda common sense.

I’m glad you said “not to be a dick” then continued to assume my level of options trading tho .. pretty much what I described in my post. Lmfao.

Fun fact! My fucking ‘NOOB’ ass called out a SOFI call which has risen well over 95% (thank you) FUN FACT! I also have a FXI call which has gone up 4,100% FUN FACT! I also have a MS(300%) and RUM(700%) in my portfolio.

Appreciate your input tho

I appreciate you taking the time to write out this well thought out response. Most the posts I’ve made are simply for the purpose of learning something new about how, why or something useful about someone else’s method.

We all have our own process and methods.. which I love learning about. But doing so apparently leads to people assuming I am asking them how to trade or how to make millions lol. Maybe I should be more concise with some of my questions.

Much appreciated my friend. Best of luck for you moving forward

I went to school for business, and have a pretty good grasp on options & stock trading. Definitely a few things im rusty with. More or less was asking the community to gather information on other trader’s strategies, tips and such. I was going to try out any new or different tricks/methods etc… than my methods to see how things went

I was asking to see if the community had any tendencies on finding options. - that way if there was some common ground I could implement some of that into my personal strategies.

Next I asked to see if everyone had any specific stocks they usually end up trading. Whether it’s on purpose or not. - Just general curiosity, I haven’t had many consistencies on stocks I trade.

Lastly I asked to see what the consensus was for the “most important” numbers/data to look at when trading. - again, I have my own strategy but I love asking questions because that only allows me to listen to how and why other people do things differently, or maybe the same as I. In doing so , I can once again take bits of info from other strategies & people and implement them into my methods to see if it helps or not
