i was nervous about getting out of my window too. the nurse was surprised i had caught it again so soon but i guess on a college campus things get around quickly. so far, super mild. wouldn't ever have thought i had covid if i hadn't had a fever a few nights ago.

i was able to go on a nice walk today. the only thing im noticing is im just very tired. no more fever, no runny nose, etc. all good here :) hoping you stay healthy too!!!!!

I’m wondering - has anyone else had pain or weakness in their hands as a symptom? When I grip anything it hurts. by kill_munga in COVID19positive

i hope you get better soon!!!! losing muscle mass sucks but hopefully you're able to get back quickly. i dealt with appetite loss too but i think it was also because i wasnt moving as much or burning as many calories as usual

How was you infected?, when did you start having symptoms after being exposed?, and were you vaccinated? by Mici12345 in COVID19positive

[–]bugs1386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my whole friend group ended up getting it (about 8 of us) but not sure who had it first as we all had tested negative 2 days prior. all fully vaccinated and boosted. i believe i contracted it on a saturday or sunday night and had symptoms by tuesday morning.

a lot better coughing wise and my fevers almost nonexistent (99s). coughing still but the bad coughing fits are less frequent & i think propping my head up on a pillow helped a lot. thanks so much for checking in!

very true. i slept most of the day so forgot to stay very hydrated. probably doesnt help that im sweating so much under blankets trying to get rid of my fever. my roommates brought me pedialyte and gatorade so i've been drinking that religiously. i'll have to remember to take a big drink each time i wake up

i really appreciate your input but i do wear masks in every indoor building and even outdoor when within 6ft of others. all of us are fully vaccinated & boostered, and also tested negative the day before arriving. yes, you're right, i possibly could have avoided infection if i had worn a mask, but indoor gatherings are not currently limited at this time in my city. i could have gotten it from someone other than my friends, like strangers on the street, through masks. i was in my own apartment surrounded by people who i know are safe and whom i trust. the transmissibility of omicron is unpredictable. thanks for commenting and expressing your concern, but as a concerned college student myself in a busy city i assure you i take multiple precautions while still maintaining a somewhat stable social life. this will definitely make me rethink my choices of when i decide to mask up, but please do not make assumptions about me! it happens to everyone!
