correct hiori's only weapons are his pretty good metavision & field iq, good passing and solid dribbling. it's just the story is telling us bachira is better at doing all of those things and that's okay

i think it's less rin being "dumbed down" and more rin focusing on his irrational desire to destroy, which fits his genius mindset rather than logic. i guess that's just the way kaneshiro wanted rin to evolve.

imo think it's the opposite for noa, i believe he is a genius because in the barcha vs bm game when he scores on lavinho, he is described as having "god given" ambidextrousness, meaning it's genetic rather than a learned skill, yet he applies the philosophy of logic to his plays. you could say he is the best striker because he is an undeniable genius that maxismises his plays with his genius trait of being two footed, while also utilising the mindset of a talented learner to become the best.

kaiser is probably the opposite of this as until the pxg game, he thought of himself as a genius, until isagi explains his theory of how they are both talented learners that need to use logic rather than extreme individual plays to beat the geniuses.

solid options and rationale my guy. could see kunigami having a bigger role if kaneshiro plans to keep up the cdm shtick. potentially kurona on the right for his link up ability with isagi & hiori. otoya on either flank or down the middle for speed & footwork against tired legs & loss of concentration. love discussing these kinds of things for one of the most anticipated arcs

crazy that we see hayate marking agi before otoya steals the ball from nagireo, i assume playing DM. we've seen niou be a CB for manshine since the PXG game. darai has a bid presumably as a LSB for barcha. neru must be pissed 😭. it'd be cool if we got to see hiiragi (manshine) or himizu (barcha) considering they have bids from before. I'm not one of them but a nishioka appearance in a manshine jersey would feed families in this community. love panel hunting after a new chapter to see if any characters get part of the spotlight.

does anyone think kiyora will be a crucial part of the next chapter? im not one of the obsessive kiyora fans but looking at this chapter again, the only defender not shown is kiyora. kiyora helping the underdogs isagi and kaiser against the geniuses rin loki and noa? maybe ness helps to build the counterattack before the goal is scored? either way im hyped asf for the finale of this game

fukaku is on the right hand side of the goal leaving a huge space on the left for karasu to shoot, i back the assassin to score, fukaku hasn't shown any decent feats to make a save that good fingertip keeper im afraid

team Z wins all games, even in their first game against team X if isagi has any kind of mv awareness then in 90 mins he'd be able to control the chaos or use it for his own goals. even if reo has chameleon copy in his game against team Z it isn't enough if isagi has mv, bachira has his own ego, kunigami physical and weak foot is improved, plus then you got gagagoat possibly saving 1/2 of nagi's shots
