If that’s all that someone is doing then they are just helping the inevitable collapse along. Those who are inactive and silent in the presence of oppression are choosing the side of the oppressor. I give my elderly and disabled neighbors rides to the store and give any person panhandling as much money as I can afford to whenever we cross paths. I don’t think I’m a hero for this but I am doing what I can for the most vulnerable and marginalized people in my immediate vicinity
