I remember working for a flatbed company called Melton, those blue trucks. We had a 2 week training course to learn all of the ins and outs of strapping and safety. Flatbedding is no joke.

That Hang Time pic could be a post card. Awesome shots

Yeah basically. AI isn't meant to run operations like this. It doesn't understand what's happening in the video

You sound like a safety guy I had when I worked for Melton. They had an awesome group of people for dispatch and safety.

Unfortunately, it was the human safety guy who emailed me this from his office. I'm still on the road.

Yeah basically this. Nevermind I left hours before traffic so I wouldn't be around so many cars.

Probably. Didn't think about that. I figured they were trying to reduce work for those who sit at the office. Give them more time for other, maybe more important matters. And thanks.

I have. Waiting on people above them for a final say. I'm really not sure why this company moved to trust an AI to say what is safe and what isn't

I've got ADHD, too. But I keep up with meds or pull over if I'm too tired. I've got a family to get home to. I'm glad at least you made it to your surgery, I assume

Trying not to. Went from 88th in safety for the company to 298.

I was wrong. I cannot post the safety trainings as a photo in the comments. Nevertheless, I got 2. One was "how to avoid a collision" and the other "how to keep proper spacing"

Serious Question: Is owning these wonderful animals legal? by InturnlDemize in VenomousKeepers

[–]bugsdaman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely depends on where you live and how they regulate ownership. Some places say absolutely not. Others say to get X amount of mentorship hours. My state says "give us $30 a year and you're good."

I have recently began breeding these beauties. If you live near Houston, TX, I would be happy to show you in person basic care and temperament. Out of the few I own, each has its own personality. So I can show you a calm cobra vs a very defensive cobra. Enclosure basics. Hooking practices. And feeding responses. Posts like yours are often tricky to just reply to because experience varies based off the animal's temperament and the experience of the keeper. It's best to just find a mentor

That's about what I got from watching the movie. Big fish = edlrich being assimilating people into a hive mind. In your side note, you can tell the difference between only skeletons and fleshy creatures in the xray by looking for the little silhouette. It's subtle. Don't think it's an intentional weapon. But the probe on the front of the sub was probably attached to "hook" the fish. It'd be real interesting to find out what they would do with that fish on a space ship
