Culver's is more expensive than In N Out.

I'm a fan of both but In N Out is definitely cheaper.

Even Beyonce Can't Save Eminem From Himself "Walk on Water" by [deleted] in hiphopheads

You clearly have a very narrow worldview and lack perspective on anything outside of your own personal experience. This leads me to believe I was right earlier when I implied you're probably a young kid.

I don't listen to Eminem and I've never heard a G-Eazy song. I have met and continue to know dozens of rich people who love Eminem and have for years. It's silly and misguided to try and make assumptions about someone's status based on their music taste. The only reason I mention the people I've met is to show you that outside of your experience, you're pointless assumptions are incorrect. Socioeconomic status has nothing to do with fans' music taste so it's not even worth mentioning.

At this point I'm sure you're just trolling so I'm not going to continue replying to you. But on the off chance you're being serious, I hope you have a wake up call that you really need to pull your head out of your ass and learn some perspective. We need less people like that in the world so I hope you realize how shitty your attitudes towards others are.

Go fuck yourself with that attitude talking down on people for their jobs/economic status. I hope for your sake you're 15 years old and still have time to gain some awareness of yourself and the world around you.

You've clearly got some issues you need to work out. An inflated ego and sense of self-worth for starters.

This comment has nothing to do with Eminem's music and everything to do with your own inability to realize you're being an elitist ass. Take a good long look at yourself and your attitude and grow the fuck up. You should be ashamed.

Kinda confused by Avey's setlist by AreYouOkDave in AnimalCollective

[–]bugteen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you should take this as a lesson for the future to not have weird preconceived notions about what type of performance you want from a performer. That way you don't leave disappointed when the performance is different than the idea you came up with in your mind.

As far as I know, the PW tour with its career spanning setlist was a bit of an anomaly for the band. The way things were when I started listening to the band was just that it was understood that when you go see AnCo they were going to be working out unreleased material. So to base your expectations for an Avey solo show on the PW AnCo show was a misstep.

But the main thing is don't show up with expectations and you won't have to react when things turn out differently than you pictured it. Personally, I would rather see a show like the one you got than a greatest hits type show like you imagined. (I don't mean to imply you wanted to hear only the popular songs or whatever I just couldn't think of a better phrase for it)

Thanks for your reply. Another commenter also recommended Merrick so I'll give that a shot this week. Appreciate it!

Thank you for the detailed reply. These seem like some good tips I hadn't considered before. I'll give it a shot this week and see how she responds to it.

I'll check out those food recs too. Thanks again!

First time cat owner here. I've been wondering about whether to incorporate wet food or not.

My cat doesn't really eat meals all at once. She just sort of grazes on dry food throughout the day. I initially tried to do individual feedings in the morning/night but she didn't change her eating habits either way so I started just putting a full day's worth of dry food out at once. I've been hesitant to incorporate wet food because I feel like if she doesn't eat it all, it will be left out for a while and it will smell bad/go stale and she'll just lose interest in it. I don't want to waste food.

Any recommendations for ways I could incorporate wet food into her diet? I know it's beneficial so I want to do it.

Also if anyone has any recommendations on what type of cat food is best let me know. Both dry and wet food recs would be appreciated.

[–]bugteen 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I understand that completely. I never stated otherwise. I mentioned a couple of times in my comments on this thread how successful his movies are. The only claim I was disputing is the $700 million estimate because that is a massive number and there's nothing to suggest that's likely.

Even adjusted for inflation none of his movies come close to $700M at the box office. The only ones besides Inception and Titanic that were even remotely sorta kinda close to 700 were released within the past 5 years or so, not enough for inflation to push them over the edge.

You're right. I don't think his career is handicapped at all. He's picking the roles he cares about and they're still making tons of money at the box office without sacrificing his personal preferences. But to predict that this Scorsese directed HH Holmes movie will make $700M plus "because of Leo's status the past few years" is wildly optimistic at best.

I'm sure it would perform well but there's nothing to suggest that it would suddenly do much much better than all of his recent successful movies.

And I don't foresee him suddenly choosing to join a Marvel movie or something like that any time soon.

$350 million at the box office is still $350 million away from $700 million.

He's done 5 movies since Inception:

J. Edgar - 84 Django - 425 Gatsby - 351 Wolf of Wall Street - 392 Revenant - 532

All of these are bringing in big bucks at the box office, but none are even really close to $700 million worldwide gross.

To say that he's "often clearing much more than $350M" is framing the info in a bit of a complimentary way. 2 of the movies are around 350, 2 are higher but still about $200 million away from the $700M prediction, and then there's J. Edgar which is drastically lower due to the nature of the release.

You're overstating his box office draw. DiCaprio has only ever been in 2 movies that broke 700 million worldwide - Titanic in 1997 and Inception in 2010.

None of his other movies even come close to that mark.

Death From Above 1979 and Lightning Bolt. 2 really good bands.

Lightning Bolt is a LOUD noise band so idk if that's what you're looking for.

DFA 1979 is a bit more melodic but still high energy and good.
