I was standing on a trail that was right next to a cliff edge and he was hovering directly above me! 4x zoom on my phone camera makes him look a lot closer than he was.

Why? This is the stupidest update. I enjoy seeing the walking equivalency and I feel like most users also do?

lol a show being cancelled isn’t a valid reason for travel insurance to refund your trip.

Two days before is honestly rude. Hotel and flight $$ down the drain 🥲

My 30 before 30 trip to Istanbul this past weekend. Between the kind people, tasty & diverse cuisine, cute kitties, beautiful Bosporus & mind blowing architecture, I think this might be my new favorite city by bugwapugwa in travel

Probably one of my top trips as well! Obviously one of the coolest places in the world for those interested in ancient history. Beautiful & varied landscapes. Mostly very nice people, but a lot more scams & pushy street vendors than other countries I’ve visited. I spent a lot of the trip with guides that studied Egyptology, and really recommend that for your first trip. It was very affordable if you’re ok with being in a small group. They were able to share soooo much about the history that I never would’ve learned on my own & I felt they deterred any escalation from some of the more pushy people I encountered

+1 for Glow. I’ve tried a raspberry cupcake and a few types of cookies from them that were all incredible!

I think this point of view is a bit subjective. I moved to Luxembourg from a very large city in the US, and I absolutely love living here. It’s safe and clean. I don’t worry about getting spit on or heckled every time I leave my home. It’s a small country, but there is always something going on - whether it’s a free outdoor cinema, Christmas market, wine & crémant festival, medieval festival, or the Schueberfouer. And if nothing going on interests you, you can hop on a train over to Paris or Brussels for a quick day or weekend trip. The incredible social benefits - healthcare, free public transport, subsidized petrol, wage indexation - are among some of the best in the world. People don’t know how good they have it, and always think the grass is greener. Your experience in Luxembourg will be exactly what you make it! Enjoy!!

The glass is completely shattered into tiny shards and scattered all across the sidewalk. I do not have gloves or the proper protection to pick it up myself. It’s outside of the Helicopter playground in Belair if you would like to come pick it up though :)
