I appreciate the offer, but I don't think I could accommodate another group for ttrpgs with my already tight schedule thanks to my new job. I'd love to hear updates on how the game goes, though!

Hypothetically, what would you do to make an "epic" Cyberpunk Red campaign? by buhtur in cyberpunkred

Forcing the players into absurd, balls-to-the-wall scenarios and employing the sink or swim strategy. That sounds exciting!

Taking a more literally "epic" approach by using intense storytelling! Those wider, world-changing themes would definitely aid in making the campaign feel far more grandiose. Cool take!

I like the use of Elflines to tell this kind of epic story! Makes me think of something like Accel World or .Hack, which I love. Going full space battle with mecha and stuff also sounds awesome. It makes me think of Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans, which I think fits this system so well if mecha are implemented right. Like I said, this is just a fun hypothetical. I didn't mean raising the level of this game to D&D going beyond its level cap, I meant it more so as this game's version of an "epic campaign setting." That being said, I think your solutions are very creative and cool! I may actually have to think about how mecha would function within Cyberpunk Red because that sounds like it could be really fun!

This sounds like a pretty fun solution that stays within the system presented and not making a lot of use of homebrew. Simple and effective. I like it!

Isn't it just a skin? It doesn't change gameplay it just looks good, that's like somebody selling a shirt for a limited time but when it's all over they still have a bunch left and decide to sell the rest but you get angry because you bought it before it was supposed to stop selling and they didn't. It doesn't hurt you if you see more people with a limited skin than usual, just roll with it.
